Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 - $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.   • Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions where appropriate
  • Treat and operate on patients with diseases/conditions of the brain, central nervous system and peripheral nerves
  • Prescribe medications and recommended dietary and physical activity programs for a post-operative recovery
  • Hospital duties to include consultations, admissions and provision of treatment and therapeutic plan for hospitalized patients, operative reports, discharge planning and discharge summaries
  • Assist in the planning of Neurosurgery services at SMC and maintain a high standard of integrated patient care in Neurosurgery Service
  • Design, conduct and/or participate in research studies, as appropriate
  • Assist in the development of junior medical officers and other staff in training, where required

Minimum Requirements

  • Complete a degree from an accredited school of medicine

  • Assists Interventional Radiologist proficiently during CT guidance procedures.
  • Assists Lead and Senior technologist with operations and patient workflow as requested.
  • Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions.
  • Performs protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary.
  • Acts as a resource and role model for Students, Externs, and new staff members.

Job Requirements

  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIR) to AS9102 standards, including full documentation packages
  • Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined parts
  • Inspect tight-tolerance components using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, and CMM
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and aerospace specifications
  • Review and compile PPAP and quality documentation as required
  • Ensure all parts meet AS9100 and customer-specific aerospace quality requirements
  • Perform final inspection and release for shipment
  • Record inspection results and maintain data in ERP/MES systems
  • Support continuous improvement and non-conformance investigations


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a machining or aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience inspecting CNC machined parts (metal components such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, etc.)
  • Proficient with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, height gauges, CMM)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 (FAIR requirements)
  • Experience with SPC, capability studies, and inspection reporting
  • Basic knowledge of CAD models and inspection software preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Must be eligible to work with ITAR-controlled materials
