  • Provide timely updates to the Youth Program Coordinator regarding site successes, staff performance, supply needs, and any participant or parent inquires.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of youth programming, childhood development, and recreational activity planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and direct a team of part-time Recreation Assistants.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle parent interactions with diplomacy, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and capable of managing administrative paperwork accurately.

Education, Experience and Training

  • Education: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent required. Experience in recreation management, education, child development, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience: One to two years of experience working with youth, recreation programs, summer camps, afterschool care, childcare, or work in an educational setting preferred.
  • Certifications: Possess or is willing to obtain: First Aid / CPR / AED Certification.
  • Background Clearance: Must successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check, central registry check, and drug screening prior to employment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own a diverse portfolio of client relationships, delivering high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services from planning through completion

  • Experience with CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx Tax, GAAP, or staff review responsibilities is preferred
