Overview
Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals are seeking full‑time Anesthesiologists to join our employed group in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut, approximately 60 miles northeast of New York City. Both day/non‑call and call positions are available, with nocturnist and part‑time/per‑diem schedules considered. Our group consists of ~40 physicians and 40 CRNAs covering spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetric cases, offering a large, established program with teaching opportunities for residents, medical students, and CRNA students.
Locations
We provide 24/7 coverage at Danbury (371 beds, Level II Trauma Center, ~70,000 ED visits per year), Norwalk (366 beds, Level II Trauma Center, ~50,000 ED visits per year), New Milford (85‑bed community hospital), and Sharon (78‑bed community hospital). Danbury is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, within the greater NY metro area, offering proximity to New York City, Boston, New Haven, and Hartford via train or car. Norwalk sits along Long Island Sound, offering cultural amenities and accessibility to New York City by car or train.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be board certified or eligible in Anesthesia. New and recent graduates, including 2026 graduates, and those with regional fellowship training are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive package: base salary plus incentives, allowances for CME and dues, malpractice coverage, generous sign‑on bonus, and relocation allowance. Salary range: $430,000–$600,000 annually depending on schedule, subspecialty, and experience ($206–$288 per hour).
