  • Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record. - Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Associates Degree okay to hire, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact license
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, BLS, required and issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross 
  • 1 year acute care hospital experience

JOB SUMMARY  

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store). 
  • Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre- and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).
  • Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g., proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.
  • Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:   

  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma. 

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :  

Knowledge of: DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.

Skill in: driving over long distances, over a variety of terrains and in varying weather conditions, communicating with customers; solving problems; delivering product.  

Ability to:   drive a tractor-trailer unit both in the day and at night in a variety of traffic and weather conditions and remain alert and aware of surroundings; meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company;  handle hazardous materials and food and restaurant items that are frozen, dry and refrigerated; operate a 3 axle tractor, 45' - 48' trailer, straight truck, on board computer, key pad and a 2 wheel hand cart; ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records ; perform basic math functions (e.g. add, subtract, multiply, divide);  effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision; solve problems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The associate is frequently required to lift, push, or move product that weighs up to 50 pounds by hand and push/pull up to 350 pounds of product with a 2-wheeled hand cart down a ramp and into the customer’s storage areas; climb in and out of a tractor and trailer; reach to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from trailer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Unit Summary:

The MedSurg Float Pool RN position is perfect for an RN who likes a fast-paced environment with an opportunity to learn and grow. MedSurg float RNs support medsurg and mixed acuity units, and float between the 2 Lowell General Hospital campuses (Main & Saints campus).

MedSurg Float Pool RN positions offer a float pool hourly differential and requires two weekend shifts a month.   

Hours:  36 Hours: 7:00Pm-7:00AM

Shift: Nights (weekend and holiday rotation required)

Location : Lowell General Main Campus- MedSurg Float Pool

Qualifications:  

  • A minimum of 1-2 years in telemetry/Critical care is preferred

  • Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing are required 

  • BSN is strongly preferred 

  • Associate’s degree in nursing may be considered. Must enroll in BSN within year

  • BLS required 

  • Specialized certifications preferred; PCCN or CVRN certifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in guiding patients through both routine care and critical moments. You’ll perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation across a variety of care settings. You’ll have access to advanced respiratory technology, mentorship from experienced RT leaders, and the support of a dependable, collaborative team that will set you up for success and ongoing professional growth. And with consistent, predictable scheduling, you’ll have the stability and resources to deliver your best care, continue building your expertise, and make a lasting impact on patient health every day. 

Your role will include:

  • Assessing respiratory status  by performing focused exams, interpreting breath sounds and airway patency, and determining the need for respiratory interventions. 
  • Delivering evidence-based therapy  by providing oxygen support, aerosolized medications, airway clearance techniques, and other treatments across emergency, critical care, and acute settings. 
  • Managing ventilation and airways  by assisting with artificial airway placement, initiating and adjusting invasive and noninvasive ventilation, monitoring patient responses, and responding quickly to clinical changes or emergencies. 
  • Supporting patients and the care team  by educating patients and families, serving as a clinical resource, partnering with physicians and nurses, and helping stabilize newborns during deliveries when needed. 
  • Maintaining equipment and safety  by setting up, operating, and cleaning respiratory equipment; ensuring readiness and preventive maintenance; transporting ventilated patients safely; and following all infection-prevention standards. 
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
  • (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
  • Prior Pediatric RRT or Transport experience is required
