Your Role at Raising Cane's:

The Delivery Driver (with CDL) is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and service of all products sold within assigned route and the operation of a commercial motor vehicle to reach all customer locations. Primary Objectives & Essential Functions:

  • Vehicle & DOT Requirements
    • Fill out pre & post trips each day
    • Check load security, verify inventory, check equipment including pallet jacks and sleds

  • Delivery Functions

  • Establishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agencies.
  • Represents client and self with professionalism and integrity. Can relate to people from various backgrounds. Can diffuse tense situations quickly.
  • Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure necessary access to company assets.
  • Thorough understanding of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and gov't laws/regulations related to Right of Way operations.
  • Able to conduct internal title research and external title research in the courthouse with no supervision.
  • Mapping software experience (GIS, Google Earth, ability to deed plot, ability to learn any client internal mapping systems).
  • Ability to interpret drawings and redline where needed (Alignment drawings, Certified Property Plats, Permit Drawings, Temporary Workspace Drawings, Construction Access Drawings).
  • Ability to navigate multiple client databases.
  • Ability to conduct online research.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.
  • Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Right-of-Way industry primarily dealing with negotiations of easements for pipelines;
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduate.

Pay Rate:

This is Full-Time, 6 day per week, $350 day rate per days worked. Pay rate will be based on experience, applicable skill set and technical capabilities. This position includes per diem $178/day 7 days a week. This position offers full Health, Vision & Dental benefits.
