500- 600 births/year
Very flexible scheduling- 7 24-hour shifts/month
Level II NICU staffed 24 hours by Pediatric Hospitalists & NICU Nurses with access to an on-site blood bank.
Teaching opportunity- FM Residents (in L&D 24/7) & Medical Students
In-house specialists available for consultation/collaboration in patient care, i.e., Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, etc.

Base Salary: $400,000 /year
$150,000 bonus package!

Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required . Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
