The Cardiac Department has 36 beds. Patient population and diagnosis: Cardiac and CVA patients. Post op day 1-2 CABG, pacemaker patients, Bradycardia, Tachycardia, SVT, AFIB w/RVR or new a fib, acute MIs, PCI patients, Fem/Fem bypass, CEAs and more. We also do step down (IMCU) patients. Nurses are exposed to more critical patients, making it a good bridge to departments such as ED and ICU.
How you'll contribute
A Cardiac RN who excels in this role:
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
Additional requirements include
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
IMCU cross-training (within 1 year)
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) (within 1 year)

How you'll contribute
A Float Pool RN who excels in this role:

What You’ll Do
- Feed books/signatures into machine
- Pack books into cartons
- Safely move materials/books to and from workstation
- Perform hand operations as required

- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
What We’re Looking For
No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
It’s a plus if you have:
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
Physical & Work Environment
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the general appearance and maintenance of the property to help create a great living experience for our residents.

- Monitor property for any repairs or replacements that may arise
- Complete work requests for common areas and apartment units
- Perform preventative maintenance on property
- Assess and repair appliances as needed
- Assist in preparing vacant units ready for new residents
- Occasional on-call duties (trip stipend provided if called back to site after regular work hours)
- Create and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years previous experience in maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and painting
- HVAC and EPA experience preferred
- CPO certification preferred
- Valid drivers' license and insurance may be required
