The division provides a complete range of inpatient and outpatient pediatric nephrology services, including management of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, inpatient and outpatient plasmapheresis services, all modalities of renal replacement therapy (CRRT, PD, and HD – with and without ECMO), and kidney transplantation. We have a dedicated children’s dialysis unit with 6 chairs and 5 pediatric dialysis nurses. The division has innovative clinical programs including a large ambulatory blood pressure monitoring program, an active telemedicine nephrology‑driven program that offers care for patients from long distances, and multi‑disciplinary William’s syndrome clinic, sickle cell disease clinic and kidney stone clinic.

Additionally, the division is very active in large multicenter QI and research collaborative studies including the Pediatric Nephrology Research Consortium (PNRC), IROC, and NAPTRCS, which affords ample clinical research opportunities.
