Cardiac Sonographer

This position serves as a registry eligible sonographer in the echocardiography laboratory and at the cardiology satellite offices. The cardiac sonographer will be trained and must be willing to learn all aspects of an echocardiographic exam, have a basic knowledge of cardiac pathology/echo equipment and perform other duties as assigned. The cardiac sonographer contributes skills to assist with an efficient operation of the department.

Performs clinical m-Mode, 2-D, CFM, Doppler echocardiograms under supervision per lab standards. Orients to stress (treadmill and pharmacologic), 3D and strain echocardiography (where applicable). Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn new procedures and techniques. Orients to scanning all patient types (ICU/OR/ER) when applicable. Seeks assistance with difficult studies. Recognizes basic cardiac pathology and life threatening situations and intervenes appropriately. Participates in the on-call system (if applicable). Performs EKG's and Holter/Event monitors (if applicable). Participates in rounds/conferences. Completes documentation (written / computerized) including verification of demographic data to ensure proper billing. Maintains a clean environment and alerts the proper personnel when supplies are low. Demonstrates behavior which impacts the productivity, efficiency, and quality of communication and collaboration in the department. Additional responsibilities include initiating and directing projects/QI processes/problem solving initiatives with peers and/or hospital leadership and performing other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.

Education: High School Equivalent / GED (Required) and Graduate of an approved Cardiac Sonography Program (Required) or Graduate of an approved Sonography Program with cross-training in echocardiography (Required). Member of the American Society of Echocardiography (Preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Basic computer skills (Required proficiency), Good communication skills (Required proficiency), Basic knowledge of cardiac pathology (Required proficiency), Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of echocardiography (Required proficiency), Ability to learn to use all types of echo machines (Required proficiency).

What You Will Do:

The Abdominal Organ Transplant Service at Temple Health offers a comprehensive and growing transplant program, performing kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants, along with living donor nephrectomies, including procedures utilizing advanced robotic and minimally invasive techniques. The service also provides pediatric kidney transplant care in collaboration with a local pediatric hospital and plays a key regional role by supporting deceased donor organ procurement through coverage for the local Organ Procurement Organization (OPO).

The Chief/Surgical Director will provide strategic and clinical leadership for the abdominal organ transplant program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including UNOS/OPTN and CMS requirements. In the role of Surgical Director of Transplant, the successful candidate will oversee surgical quality, outcomes, innovation, and operational performance across the transplant service line, working closely with multidisciplinary partners to enhance access, efficiency, and clinical excellence.

A central focus of this position is the continued growth and advancement of liver transplantation, including living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). Experience leading, developing, or expanding a living donor liver transplant program is strongly desired. The Chief/Surgical Director will be expected to strengthen referral networks, improve organ utilization, and advance best practices in donor and recipient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety, ethics, and patient outcomes.

Key priorities for this role include advancing the strategic growth and regional visibility of the abdominal organ transplant program; strengthening clinical quality, outcomes, and regulatory performance across all transplant services; and expanding liver transplantation, with particular emphasis on living donor liver transplantation. Additional responsibilities include recruiting, mentoring, and retaining outstanding transplant surgeons and multidisciplinary faculty; fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture of excellence; enhancing education and training for medical students, residents, and fellows; supporting clinical research, innovation, and scholarly activity; and partnering closely with departmental, school, and health system leadership to optimize operations, access, and long-term program sustainability. Educational Requirements and Minimum Qualifications This position requires an M.D. or equivalent. Qualified candidates must be board-certified in General Surgery with fellowship training in Abdominal Organ Transplantation, robotic/laparoscopic training/experience is preferred and be eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Working under direct guidance and supervision, the Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team on a short-term basis by consistently delivering outstanding guest service experiences in a sales culture that utilizes elements of GameStop's buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model, known as the Circle of Life. The Seasonal Sales Associate will participate in the day-to-day operations of the store during peak sales days, with a primary focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities. The ideal candidate must prioritize customer satisfaction and be available to work during peak seasonal sales days.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending additional items as appropriate, applying all selling behaviors during every transaction, and expressing gratitude to every guest for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and actively contribute to all store sales initiatives throughout the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, as well as transferring products from the stock room to the front of the store, ensuring that all products are well-presented, organized, and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Assist the store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, effectively, and courteously, and escalate customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner to a store keyholder.
• Support effective inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and adherence to safety best practices.
• Consistently adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS*
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.


KEY JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions presented in written, oral, and diagram form.
• Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
• Provide genuine and friendly assistance to every guest during every visit.
• Demonstrate clear verbal communication and listening skills using spoken and written English; bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills are preferred.
• Achieve objectives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Work both independently and within a team to perform all tasks as assigned.
• Meet associate performance expectations, including attendance, professional dress, and grooming requirements. Be able to stand and move throughout the store unassisted to provide guest service or perform tasks in any part of the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Be capable of bending, stooping, reaching with arms/hands, climbing ladders, and independently lifting merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs. from ground level to a minimum height of 4 feet.
• Possess reliability and trustworthiness.
