About the Role

$30,000 Discretionary Sign-On Bonus Under the supervision of the Operating Room Supervisor, the OR RN maintains the health and welfare of a patient before, during and after the surgical procedure. Through assessment of the patient and procedures, the OR RN anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The OR RN is a self-motivated professional and resource person who supports the mission and nursing philosophy of Northern Montana Health Care. Rotational call including weekends, 2 out of 6, is required.

Qualifications

  • Graduation of an accredited school of nursing
  • Currently licensed to practice professional nursing by the Montana State Board of Nursing; and have a general knowledge of providing care to patients covering ages infant to geriatric.
  • Circulating/PACU experience preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Assembly And Test Mechanic

This is an amazing opportunity for an Assembly and Test Mechanic. This is a 3rd Shift, Sunday -Thursday - midnight -7:00am, work 6.5 hours and get paid for 8 hours.

What you will do:

  • Work from procedures, preliminary sketches, operations sheets, layouts, complicated drawings, written engineering, supervisor or lead mechanic or electronic work instructions. Layout, fabricates, assemble, and modify jet engine assembly or test articles, test stands, equipment, and support systems.
  • Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly/components or test equipment/test components. Operate a wide variety of tools to assemble/disassemble a jet engine or APU or operate support utilities to run the test article.
  • Check all phases of assembly/disassembly including inspecting critical functions for final inspection ensuring adherence to quality standards. Monitor instrumentation and perform engine service during test. Assist in the training activity of not more than two other team members during the assembly/disassembly or test process to ensure safe operation.
  • Complete appropriate documentation/sign-off in assembly/disassembly or test procedures as required. After assembly, ensure test article is prepared for delivery to test cell. Perform basic instrumentation troubleshooting for test. Reconfigure or repair test stand, test systems and test equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain test facilities, support systems, and special test equipment. Inspect, maintain and complete necessary reporting on equipment, facilities and support systems. Remove instrumentation, equipment and utilities to de-prep, dismount, and preserve test article for shipment. Ensure all functions are performed according to Pratt & Whitney, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality policies. Perform other related work assignments as required or directed by supervision and/or lead mechanics that support department objectives.

Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state of the art facility. Interpretation/Application of tech data to aide in the disassembly and assembly of commercial & military jet engines. Forklift, scissor lift, and other PIV trainings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • 1+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing or 1+ years of automotive training or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A & P License
  • 4+ years in similar function
  • Previous MRO/FAR 145 repair station experience is preferred.
  • Formal training in power plant mechanics and testing.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of FAA and aviation standards, jet engine design and operation, jet engine hardware and components, instrumentation installations, engine assembly or test stand experience. - SAP, Solumina experience.

The director of competitive swimming provides leadership and oversight for the YMCA of South Hampton Road's competitive swimming program across the association. Association responsibilities:

  • Lead structured practices during assigned times at the great bridge and greenbrier YMCA, with best practices as outlined in YMCA and national certifications
  • Manage all administration of the GBH/GBF team as assigned, including swim meet arrangements, entry assignments, and registrations
  • Trains and oversees assistant coaches for GBH/GBF, and volunteers as assigned.
  • Conveys information on aquatics programs and schedules, and as appropriate refers students and parents to other programs.
  • Attends staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment for swim team participants;
  • Builds effective, authentic relationships with swimmers and parents; helps them connect with each other and the YMCA. Encourages parent involvement and identifies potential volunteers.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience leading a swim team; multi-site swim team leadership is a plus.
  • Current USA swimming coach certification preferred.
  • Current lifeguard certification required or able to complete within 90 days.
  • Current CPR for the professional rescuer, AED, first aid, and oxygen administration certifications required or within 90 days.
  • Experience with swim meet and team management software, such as swimtopia, preferred.
  • YMCA principles of competitive swimming & diving and red cross safety training for swim coaches required within 90 days of employment.
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, analytical skills, and critical thinking ability.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work effectively and with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate swimming skills at a minimum of a stage 6 proficiency and in accordance with YMCA standards and have a strong foundation in stroke mechanics and be able to communicate effectively with swimmers and parents
  • 2+ years experience as competitive swimmer preferred
  • 2+ years coaching experience preferred
  • At least 18 years of age.

Physical demands:

  • Ability to instruct, observe, and demonstrate to participants proper stroke and competitive swim techniques
  • Ability to lift and pull equipment 50 pounds, and to lift a small to average size child.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be in good physical condition to teach classes
  • Must have ability to work inside and outside (i.e. humidity, hot, cold, inclement weather conditions)
  • Must have ability to concentrate in a loud environment
