Join Our Team as a Radiology Technologist!We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our healthcare team at Riverton Hospital.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of imaging techniques, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Shifts for this position are on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 to 17:30. May be hired on at a level I or II, depending on qualifications and experience.
Essential Functions
- Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
- Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
- Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
- Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
- Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality. Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
- Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns.
- Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques.
- Understands and operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
- Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions.
- Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures.

Level I Minimum Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
- Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable)
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.
Level II Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a variety of diagnostic areas, including acute care experience
Currently working in an acute care setting performing a variety of diagnostic exams, including fluoroscopy (fixed and/or c-arm) and mobile imaging.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(R) certification
Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable)
Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
IV certification—may not be required at all sites.

Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

What this job involves:
As a Sr Maintenance Technician at JLL, you'll serve as the technical backbone of our Reno portfolio, ensuring optimal performance of all building systems while delivering exceptional service to our tenants. This hands-on role combines preventative maintenance expertise with responsive problem-solving to maintain safe, efficient, and comfortable facilities. You'll work independently and collaboratively within our team to uphold operational excellence across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems. Your technical skills and commitment to safety will directly impact building performance, tenant satisfaction, and JLL's reputation for world-class facility management.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, and for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
- Performs predictive, planned, preventative and routine maintenance as well as equipment rounds, and service requests as directed. Performs maintenance in accordance with the JLL Preventative Maintenance Program. Assist with the development and improvement of preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOP’s, and operational procedures.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards and practices.
- Establishes work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product, suggesting changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department, shop, or work crew.
- Determines and/or assists with analyzing and resolving work problems and achieving work goals.
- Maintains time and production records and customer service requests utilizing a variety of computer/technology tools.
- Must be comfortable and flexible enough to work with a wide-ranging and changing scope of responsibilities while adhering to the constraints of procedures put in place to minimize the risk for human error.
- Team player with the desire to foster teamwork to help create a positive working environment.
- Control the daily operation of all mechanical equipment in the physical plant and buildings.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
- Maintains responsibility for preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance and technical proficiency.
- Performs and/or completes all tenant service requests accurately and expediently.
- Able to evaluate building systems to monitor and to improve performance and operating efficiency.
- Complies with all policies and procedures established for the building, including safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Participates in the on-call engineer rotation for the portfolio of office buildings.
- Actively participates in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs.
- Perform all work using the proper safety equipment and in a safe manner.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience maintaining and repairing mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and HVAC control systems in commercial facilities
Demonstrated technical proficiency with preventative maintenance programs and ability to perform equipment diagnostics and repairs
Strong understanding of building automation systems and ability to utilize computerized maintenance management and technology tools
Knowledge of safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials with consistent adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Ability to work independently with flexible scope of responsibilities while following established procedures to minimize risk
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate systems, recommend improvements, and implement solutions effectively
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills and commitment to fostering a positive work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or facilities management credentials)
Experience developing and improving preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, and SOPs
Background working in office building or commercial property environments
Familiarity with tenant service delivery and customer service best practices
Experience with emergency response procedures and participation in safety training programs
Location: Reno, NV – Onsite
Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Includes on-call availability once every 4-5 weeks (after training completion)

Estimated compensation for this position:
81,120.00 – 83,200.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
