Position Overview

Siemens Digital Industries Software seeks a proven and motivated individual to lead the team of customer technical experts and advocates for our largest accounts, reporting directly to the Vice President, Technical Sales EDA Sales Americas. In this role, you will drive business growth through leadership of our Technical Account Management function and team, building consistency and focus across TAMs on building relationships with customer project managers, tracking all projects across the customer, identifying technical solutions, and orchestrating cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Portfolio Unit, and Technical Sales teams to ensure customer success and business expansion across the full Portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team of Technical Account Managers: coaching TAMs on developing a long-term vision, collaborating across their assigned customers and internal network; developing team processes and procedures; and aligning Sales and Portfolio Units on the TAMs’ role as customer experts and advocates.
  • Collaborating with Sales Management and Technical Management to ensure an efficient and productive account coverage model that supports growth objectives and meets yearly targets.
  • Establishing annual account goals and success metrics; monitoring performance and adjusting goals as needed.
  • Overseeing opportunity plans, prioritization, and development, including Target Account Selling (TAS) plan development and resource alignment to support long-term account growth.
  • Guiding development of program plans for driving penetration, adoption, and add-on sales; broadening product usage and pursuing competitive replacements; defending the existing install base within the account.

Qualifications

Compensation

The total cash compensation range for this position is $226,700 to $453,400 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. A Day in the Life

  • Attend the post award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning prior to construction
