Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Contributing to our safety-first culture that includes a consistent use of personal protective equipment to ensure your safety
• Conducting various quality tests on resin, prepreg and carbon fiber
• Utilizing various measurement devices effectively such as balances, scales and calipers to meet testing specifications
• Manipulating and reduce data in lab test computers to verify results
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the manufacture of a quality product.
• Accurately documenting test results
• Organizing and prioritizing workload to produce results efficiently
• Performing quality inspection on manufacturing processes
• Working a rotating 8 to 12 hour shift with the opportunity for 7 consecutive days off each month

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Ability to conduct and understand basic arithmetic and measurements using a calculator and ruler
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to urgently address situations and events that require a quick response
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Demonstrate basic written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to physically perform the functions of the job
• Possess strong interpersonal skills for training and customer interface
• Previous experience with chemical, mechanical, or physical testing is a plus

General Summary Statement

Provides gross description and dissection services in Surgical Pathology that meet department needs and high standards of care. Assists the Pathologists with case detail necessary for correlating gross specimen findings with the microscopic findings as they formulate final diagnoses. Photographs specimens. Material Handler

The Material Handler may fulfill multiple roles in the Distribution Center environment to help fulfill overall mission to process Inbound and/or Outbound freight accurately, timely, and safely.

Major Activities

• Performs one or more of a variety of functions in a Distribution Center environment associated with fulfilling orders for retail stores and/or other Distribution Centers. Responsibilities

• Origination & Client Coverage:

• Transaction Structuring & Execution:

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Production Scheduler to join our team in Culpeper, Virginia. You will be a part of our Scheduling and Material Planning team which networks across all departments and plays a key role from proposal to product delivery. We are looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated, and organized individual. A successful candidate for this position will have a strong background in MRP/ERP (SAP, Oracle). A good understanding loading a Master Production Schedule that supports contractual/sales/program needs. Is able to determine bottlenecks, constraints, and resource issues through the use of ERP and other capacity analysis tools. Is familiar with BOM structure in a production and new product introduction environment.

Essential Functions

• Manages Demand (DTS / MPS / OID) in accordance with Master Scheduling standard work.
• Manages and provides dispatch reports to operations areas (Manufacturing, Quality, and Assembly floor).
• Performs comprehensive schedule assessments and identifies schedule risk at the operation level.
• Responsible for MRP output for their respective programs.
• Works with Operations Integrators, and Operations Managers or Supervisors on work orders that are past due and adjusts them accordingly.
• Works with Production Scheduling, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure the ERP system is in alignment with production build plans.
• Partners with Program Planners, Operations Integrators, and Scheduling Integrators to ensure the Master Production Schedule reflects what is in the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Identifies and analyzes discrepancies or gaps between the Program IMS & production status.
• Supports Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities by analyzing and preparing data.
• Understands key metric outputs and can articulate discrepancies and drive gaps to closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Prior Oracle/Delmia/Windchill experience.
• Willingness to learn Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Delmia, ASCP, Oracle Enterprise Business Suite, etc.
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skill, as well as the ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel expected.
• ERP/MRP Experience Oracle is preferred but experience with any major MRP system is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
