Job Description: Responsible for performing a variety of activities as required by the customer and/or for production. Receives direction from both the Production Manager and Research and Development Supervisor to achieved the desire results as outlined by the customer, production, etc. The following are the duties and responsibilities of the Research and Development Assistant:

  • Participates as an active member of the Product Development Team
  • Mold repair for hull molds, deck molds, liner molds and small part molds
  • Mold creation for hull molds, deck molds, liner molds and small part molds
  • Support production startup and product launch. Analyze and understand the positioning of the product and translate functional needs into specifications
  • Collaborate with various departments or individuals from other disciplines
  • Confers with leadership, engineering, production manager and other personnel regarding manufacturing capabilities, schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes
  • Ensure activities are performed safely and meet specific quality standards
  • Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
  • Assist in trouble shooting materials related issues for existing or new products.
  • As required operate hand and power tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, supervisors and/or management
  • Understand and comply with health, safety and regulatory requirements
  • Follow safety and health standards use of dust masks gloves, eye protection and other protective equipment as required

Required education and experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 - 3 years of experience with gel coating and fiberglass experience. Prefer knowledge with fiberglass and resin, spray painting, composites, marine material knowledge and marine experience. Knowledge of proper use of tools for the job, including sand papers, DAs, polishers, and measuring tools. Experience working with wood, composites, FRP, fiberglass and plastics.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Aseptically prepares infusion medications, under the supervision of a pharmacist according to accepted sterile compounding procedures.
  • Enters medication and patient demographics into information system according to procedure. Completes the process in accordance with standards, and coordinates delivery of medication.
  • Places orders, restocks shelves, compiles monthly cost statistics, and completes medication audits according to schedule. Maintains and tracks equipment used in the administration of infusion therapies. Assists I.V. Pharmacy supervisor and pharmacists in providing instruction to others (e.g., students, new employees, rotating employees).
  • Provides staffing support to other KP Pharmacies as needed.
  • Assists with special projects and related activities as assigned. Candidate must rotate to all Infusion locations (Gwinnett, Cumberland, Southwood Infusion Centers).
  • Performs general clerical duties including cash register operation, cash handling, member eligibility verification, book keeping, filing and general supply maintenance.
  • Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, performs technical duties including entering prescription and allergy data into the computer or typing prescription labels, retrieving medication from shelves, counting and packaging medication, labeling medication, retrieving refill request information from phone and automated systems.
  • Assists with inventory control, purchasing, pharmaceutical returns, return-to-stock, shelf cleanliness, product rotation and maintenance.
  • Serves members in a friendly, courteous and expedient manner which promotes member satisfaction and retention.
  • Works in conjunction with medical records and nursing staff to collect and disseminate prescription related information (e.g. advice slips, refill requests).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.

Position Summary

Responsible for scheduling orders for delivery or pick-up and documenting various updates related to therapy adherence. Will perform routine and non-routine pharmacy technician functions and activities related to the position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: making/answering outbound/inbound calls to/from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, updating patient records, and providing medications to patients in a timely manner to encourage adherence to therapy.

Examples of job duties:

  • Navigates ONCO EMR to determine if the patient has had any notable changes in personal and therapy status to determine appropriateness of refilling a medication.
  • Gathers information regarding prescription barriers to help the patient maintain therapy. Refers clinical questions and concerns to clinical pharmacists.
  • Will work with pharmacists to document discharge summaries and medication on hold forms in order to report discontinuation and delays with therapy.
  • Actively participates in the process of continuous improvement within the pharmacy.

KPA 2 Data Entry and Documentation

To ensure the accurate and timely documentation of patient information into multiple software systems.

Examples of job duties:

  • Navigates and documents accurately in CPR+, ORCA, ONCO EMR, and any additional pharmacy applications when needed.
  • Medication Reconciliation: Under supervision of clinical pharmacists, responsible for obtaining and documenting accurate medication lists to help avoid duplication, omission, and error to all patients.
  • Inform the clinical physician of any order status changes via patient EMR. This includes medication delivery dates, prior authorizations initiated, financial assistance initiated, reasons for holding or discontinuing an order, and any order clarifications as necessary.

KPA 3 Pharmacy Support

To ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner by assisting the pharmacists and other departments with pharmacy related tasks.

  • Responsible for making outbound calls to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers regarding order deliveries and updates.
  • Will be required to meet a pre-determined quota for outbound calls made and inbound calls received per shift.

Compensation

Pay Range:

$23.42 - $32.20

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.

The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Pharmacy Technician I. This position is to handle electronic and manual billing procedures together with a multi-disciplinary health care team.  The ideal candidate must be a Colorado Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and have an understanding of pharmacy reimbursement system within a high-volume ambulatory care setting.  This position is located at 2130 Stout St., Denver, Colorado 80205 and reports to the Pharmacy Manager.
 
NOTE: In order to ensure that our consumers receive the best possible care the candidate chosen to fill this position will be required to complete our internal credentialing and privileging process prior to a start date.  The credentialing and privileging timeline is dependent on the selected candidate's submission of documents necessary for clearance.  Please note that a start date will be scheduled once credentialing and privileging is complete.
Additional Requirement
  • Valid driver’s license required. This requirement may be waived, if necessary, based on overall candidate experience and current needs of the business.

Essential Job Functions 
  • Prepares new and refill medications under direct supervision of pharmacists and in coordination with other pharmacy technicians.
  • Maintains appropriate records and documentations.
  • Assists patients with prescription needs and provides excellent customer service directly.
  • Tracks prescription orders via pharmacy tracking system and electronic health record system.
  • Assists in problem solving in matters related to pharmacy.
  • Provides technical support of drug distribution services and inventory management.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information according to organizational protocol and HIPPA regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary 
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience as pharmacy technician required.
  • Experience with insurance billing required.
  • Board Certification as Pharmacy Technician with Colorado required (PTCB).
  • Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) required or able to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
WHERE A CANDIDATE IS PLACED IN THE COMPENSATION RANGE DEPENDS ON TOTAL RELEVANT YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
 
Qualified candidates are eligible for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program.  Licensed health care providers may earn funds towards student loans in exchange for a two-year commitment at an NHSC-approved site through this program.
