Modify processes for routing and meeting orders according to time and quality standards. Healthcare experience preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision, and values of the community.
  • Checks the menu item ingredients for quality, wholesomeness, and quantity.
  • Prepares meals and snacks.
  • Utilizes sound food handling practices for the storage and preparation of each menu item.
  • Maintains a strict "clean as you go" practice ensuring a clean professional work environment.
  • Reports all equipment maintenance concerns to the appropriate staff and follows up when equipment has not been repaired.
  • Coordinates the next day's food production needs including pulling and thawing frozen items in a timely manner.
  • Works with the management team to contribute ideas and suggestions for the planning of special theme/holiday occasions.
  • Provides top quality food presentation, as directed by the Executive Chef.
  • Assists in the completion of the temperature and meal record log and participates in taste testing and temperature recording.
  • Consults regularly with the Executive Chef if items are not up to the standards implemented by the Chef.
  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work as a cohesive member of a team.
  • Previous cooking experience in an assisted living or large facility.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak basic English and understand questions from residents and family members.
  • Ability to give and receive directions on work related tasks especially during events such as fires, disasters, and emergency situations.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem solving skills, when needed.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and maintains a positive attitude, during working hours.

The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for a wide range of tasks to support the efficient and accurate operation of the warehouse, including order selection, keg handling, loading, quality control and general warehouse maintenance. This role requires the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Select package and assemble customer orders according to WMS system using company issued phone and scanner.
  • Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and longfork pallet jacks to hand-stack cases of beverages and move products efficiently.
  • Pull kegs from cooler, verify code dates and load kegs for delivery using WMS systems and scanners.
  • Build, stack, and secure pallets to ensure safe and accurate transport of goods.
  • Load trucks according to driver load sheets; ensure accuracy, secure placement, and proper stacking of pallets and kegs.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure correct product, proper placement, and compliance with loading standards. Notify Supervisor if any product weights need verified/corrected.
  • Audit pallets that fail the quality control process and report on load integrity and accuracy nightly.
  • Operate pallet wrapping equipment in the QC area. Address any equipment faults that may occur.
  • Support "Special Events" loads (e.g., event trailers and specialty kegs).
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe workspaces in the warehouse and cooler.
  • Report safety concerns (e.g., damaged racks, leaking cooling units) immediately to management.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities:

  1. Work overtime and fill in for personnel in other support positions when required.
  2. Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by the Manager of Operations or Department Supervisor

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience desired.
  • Must be able to complete the in-house electric pallet jack certification program and forklift certification.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move cases (up to 49 lbs) and kegs (average 170 lbs, maximum 186 lbs) regularly.
  • Able to operate a forklift or longfork pallet jack safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work in variable warehouse environments, including refrigerated areas and exposure to wet/humid conditions, dust, noise, and moving machinery.

Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment.
  • Regular exposure to extreme temperatures, dusty conditions, fumes, machinery with moving parts, and outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions.
  • Possible exposure to chemicals and other toxicants, electrical shock, loud noise, and high places.
