Following strict proprietary methods and food safety standards, the Crafter customizes cake and balloon orders with the appropriate decorations and packaging based on each guest's unique celebratory occasion. Accountabilities/Duties:

  • Assembles cake and balloon orders according to guest specifications for the given celebration and follows NbC cake decorating and presentation standards with precision.
  • Prioritizes workload according to schedule to ensure all orders are completed at the appropriate pick-up or delivery time, and crafts all orders for walk-in guests.
  • Prepares cake decorations, boxes, bows, and other packaging materials in advance to ensure requisite supplies are readily available for cake order demands.
  • Monitors inventory of cake-crafting supplies and notifies management when replenishment is required.
  • Evaluates frosted and decorated cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and notifies management of any quality control issues.
  • Cleans sanitizes and restocks the workstation and ensures all crafting tools are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.
  • Supports the Guest Service Representative in assisting walk-in guests and answering the telephone as needed.

Inspects the property for potential issues or hazards pertaining to utilities/building systems (heating, wiring, plumbing), common areas, maintenance, protections, and life safety, etc. Take 20-35 exterior/interior photos. Take measurements with a measuring wheel or with online tools as needed.

Interviews the Insured for operations information, ages of the building systems, etc.

Communicates inspection status through online application.

Completes the inspection report on the web-based Loss Control 360 system with Rapid Sketch. Returns the completed report electronically (the reports consist of check-off questions, narrative, and digital photos).

This role will work directly with the Accounting Manager in the finance function and serve as a key partner to operational leadership, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cost controls, and clear financial visibility across project-based work.


This position requires a strong technical foundation in financial reporting, job costing, balance sheet management, and other finance and accounting tasks. The Accounting Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, improving reporting visibility, and supporting operational decision-making across a complex project and manufacturing environment.


The ideal candidate brings experience supporting a large P&L and is comfortable operating both strategically and tactically in a hands-on capacity.


Key Responsibilities


Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Work with team on monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and general ledger support
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
  • Review work prepared by others on the accounting team
  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow tracking
  • Work closely with the Accounting Manager, the TenCate Group Control team and FP&A Manager on accounting policy alignment


Financial Preparation

  • Lead preparation of monthly and annual internal financial statements
  • Support the annual budget and forecast cycle
  • Review expenses and variances monthly. Analyze any unusual amounts and report to management
  • Assist in KPI tracking and development of dashboards for leadership


Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain and improve internal control processes to ensure accuracy and prevent risk
  • Assist with audit preparation and support internal and external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards


Reporting & Financial Governance

  • Prepare routine management reports, financial summaries, and supporting schedules
  • Help document and implement financial policies, procedures, and process improvements
  • Support implementation or optimization of ERP and financial systems


Business Partnership

  • Provide financial insights to operational leaders to help drive cost discipline and efficiency


Team Collaboration & Development

  • Provide guidance to junior accounting or finance staff as needed
  • Foster effective communication across finance and operational teams
  • Support development of streamlined, scalable processes


Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5-8+ years progressive experience in accounting roles
  • Experience with large P&L responsibility or public accounting
  • Strong balance sheet and financial reporting experience
  • Experience with job costing or project-based financial environments
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Experience managing or mentoring accounting or finance staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on


Preferred

  • CPA, CMA, or MBA
  • Experience in project-based environments such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similar industries
  • Manufacturing cost accounting experience
  • Experience supporting multi-entity organizations
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership
  • Experience improving financial processes and reporting visibility


Work Environment

This role is based on site in Cedar Park, TX and will work closely with operational leadership and TenCate finance teams.
