Job Profile Summary:
The Legal Counsel – Insured Litigation assists with the assessment and management of all medical malpractice, auto liability, general liability, aviation liability and workers compensation pre-litigation and litigation matters for Global Medical Response and its subsidiaries, including coordination with third party administrators, insurance carriers, outside counsel and employees.
Responsibility:
- Coordination between outside counsel and employees.
- Assist with collection of data for discovery responses; prepare, or review and approve, discovery responses.
- Provide sound and practical legal advice to operations and support departments.
- Conduct legal research on diverse substantive matters as needed.
- Review, assess and resolve liability complaints, threats, claims, and the management of litigation.
- Participate in risk management legal process and risk mitigation improvements.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the company services/solutions and business models.
Professional Qualifications:
- The position requires a Juris Doctor degree with strong academic credentials,5 years of relevant legal experience, and admitted and in good standing in any jurisdiction with authorization to practice law in Texas or Colorado.
- Significant experience in medical malpractice, auto liability, and general liability litigation; aviation liability and workers compensation experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to synthesize complex issues and provide straightforward, practical solutions to business partners and carrying that advice through to implementation.
- Strong analytical skills, work ethic and sound legal judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities; ability to simplify complex technical information and communicate in a clear, concise and compelling/persuasive manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.
- A practical approach, focusing on being a business partner, team member, facilitator, and collaborator.
- Demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to see the "big picture" as well as the relationship of very detailed and specific legal and business issues.
- A thoughtful, articulate and effective communicator who can distill and articulate the important aspects of contracting issues to a wide audience of participants.

What You'll Do

Create Amazing Food
- Prepare menu items to Wonder standards while keeping stations clean, stocked, and organized
- Follow HACCP and all food-safety guidelines, including proper temperatures and storage
- Manage inventory scans, pack accurate portions, and ensure every order is correct before it goes out
Deliver Incredible Hospitality
- Greet guests warmly and assist with orders, pickups, payments, and the Wonder app
- Share knowledge about our concepts, support meal-kit and delivery operations, and ensure dispatch accuracy
- Participate in light local marketing activities (flyers, street engagement, etc.)
Keep Our Restaurants Looking Their Best
- Maintain top-tier sanitation and cleanliness across kitchen and dining areas
- Wash, clean, and restock cookware, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift
- Manage trash/recycling properly and report equipment issues promptly
Be a Key Part of the Team
- Support teammates, jump in where needed, and maintain a positive, high-energy environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Work in a positive, energetic environment where teammates support each other and leaders invest in your development
Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or customer-facing role
- Ability to work with speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail
- Solid organization, clear verbal communication, and ability to follow directions
- Team-oriented with basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for a full shift while working
- Must have weekend availability
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) if required by State, County or Local Health Departments
