Job Summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

Primary Function:

You would be responsible for providing protection and medical care for the client and team members in a high-threat location, performing protection operations by convoy, ground movements, or aerial platforms. You would also provide tactical combat casualty care during emergency events. Additionally, you may be assigned to a Quick Reaction Force (QRF) team, responding to potential situations as required. This position supports Department of State Worldwide Protective Services III (WPS III) Task Orders (TO) in austere environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced emergency medical care to Contractor personnel, COM personnel, and others at the direction of DS/RSO, including invasive and pharmacological interventions within the Contractor's Scope of Practice and in alignment with the National Emergency Medical Services Scope of Practice and WPS III IDIQ.
  • Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
  • Drive the lead vehicle, principal's vehicle, follow vehicle, and/or act as a response agent as required during motorcade or similar operations.
  • Maintain assigned protective formation positions during the principal's walking movements.
  • Participate in advance security preparations.
  • Staff the security post at the principal's residence, or man the command post or other static posts as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess either active or inactive National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a paramedic.
  • Certification must be valid and active prior to deployment, and remain valid and active throughout the period of deployment.
  • Must possess current approved Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Professional Rescuer certification or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Training credentials [i.e., International Life Support (ILS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent.
  • Must possess the following:
    • A minimum of three (3) years of pre-hospital emergency medical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level. While the Government may accept military service as a medical provider (including special operations units) to satisfy this requirement, the Government will not accept service in which a non-medical provider (infantryman, vehicle operator, clerk, etc.) provides medical first response as an ancillary duty in satisfaction of this requirement. Work experience in a hospital or clinic setting does not satisfy this requirement.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
  • Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.

Victory Programs is an established non-profit organization based in Boston that provides housing, and innovative and comprehensive direct care services, to individuals and families with very specialized needs. The majority of our clients are homeless, in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, and are also struggling with a secondary medical or psychiatric issue, such as HIV/AIDS or diagnosed mental illness. Twenty percent are women caring for children, and 75 percent of Victory Programs' clients are homeless upon admission.

Victory Programs' overall goals include providing our clients with the tools to remake their lives, and to help them return to the community to live independently. We support our clients and their families as they work toward transforming their lives: many are working to recover from addiction, stabilizing and improving their health, and re-building their families; others are working on having healthy babies. All need to develop life and job skills, seek educational opportunities, find appropriate housing and employment, and establish a web of support that will sustain them as they move toward independence. As a result of participating in one of our programs, many clients are able to make the transition from being homeless and unemployed, to having a stable job and living in their own home, quite possibly for the first time in their lives.

Description:

As part of the facilities team, this role maintains building operations and ensures that the facilities are safe and functional for our multiple properties. The Facilities Maintenance Technician II reports to the Director of Facilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Routine building maintenance such as snow removal, lawn maintenance, and janitorial functions, including performing key maintenance responsibilities at assigned buildings, as well as field work, as directed;
  • Repair facilities equipment such as lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc;
  • Light plumbing repairs such as removing blockages, fixture replacement, addressing leaks;
  • Light electrical repairs such as installing light fixtures, outlets, and switches;
  • Complete carpentry projects which include installing cabinets, repair/replace trim, repair/replace stair treads, as well as other items as assigned;
  • Ability to install various flooring which may include: ceramic tile, click and lock flooring systems, as well as glue down flooring;
  • Complete preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems;
  • Exterior and interior painting;
  • Ensure work sites are maintained in a clean and safe condition as well as removing all tools, materials, and debris when a project is completed;
  • In collaboration with team members within the Department and organization, complete special projects, as assigned, and regularly maintain proactive communication;
  • Address and/or report potential safety hazards as identified;

The position provides the analytical foundation for energy transactions and negotiations through scenario analysis, price forecasting, portfolio modeling, and clear executive-ready recommendations that guide long-term procurement strategy and risk management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, own, and continuously improve enterprise energy economic and financial models to evaluate power supply alternatives (utility service, third-party generation/PPAs, BESS, and hybrid solutions) across U.S. markets.
  • Translate technical, market, and commercial inputs into investment-grade lifecycle economics, including cash flow modeling, LCOE/LCOE-like comparisons, risk-adjusted costs, and key sensitivities (shape, basis, congestion, curtailment, escalation, and policy/change-in-law).
  • Build scenario and Monte Carlo/sensitivity frameworks (as appropriate) to quantify market exposure and uncertainty across competing supply strategies and contract structures.
  • Develop price forecasts and forward views (energy, capacity/RA, basis/congestion and ancillary services where relevant), integrating market fundamentals, tariff/rule impacts, and vendor/third-party intelligence to support long-term procurement strategy.
  • Provide analytical support for energy transactions and negotiations (RFP evaluation, bid leveling, term sheet analytics, and contract value drivers), including clear articulation of risks, mitigants, and recommended positions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Development, Utility Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, and Legal to align model assumptions with site constraints, interconnection/energization schedules, load profiles, and commercial priorities.
  • Maintain portfolio models that consolidate load, contracted supply, and market exposures; quantify hedge effectiveness and recommend optimization actions across volume, shape, basis, congestion, capacity/RA, and renewable attributes.
  • Create decision-quality materials (investment memos, approval packages, and executive summaries) that translate complex analytics into clear recommendations, including economics, sensitivities, and key commercial terms.
  • Establish modeling standards, documentation, and controls to ensure transparency, auditability, and consistent treatment of inputs/assumptions across markets and deal types; manage internal and third-party data sources.
  • Monitor market, regulatory, and policy developments (utility tariffs, ISO/RTO rules, state programs, FERC actions) and quantify impacts to portfolio economics and future procurement optionality.
  • Present market outlooks, model results, and procurement recommendations to senior leadership; support Board-level updates and investment committee discussions as needed.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering and Quality to lead and mentor a growing team of engineers, drive key product development initiatives, and oversee the Quality Department. This is a hands-on leadership role at the center of ChemDAQ's continued growth, requiring equal parts technical depth, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background; electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, or database, combined with proven experience managing engineering teams in a high-growth environment. You will serve as both a technical contributor and an organizational leader, shaping the engineering and quality practices that will carry ChemDAQ through its next phase of expansion. Position is full-time in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop the Engineering Team: Manage and mentor a growing team of engineers, providing technical guidance, career development support, and a clear path for team growth as the organization scales.

  • Oversee Quality and Compliance: Partner with the Quality Manager to implement improvements in documentation, processes, and new product development procedures across the company, with a focus on achieving ISO 9001 certification.

  • Drive New Product Development: Collaborate with the Management team on new product strategy; lead development and review of product specifications, including voice-of-customer inputs and validation, and oversee cross-functional execution from concept through launch within a stage-gate process.

  • Improve New Product Development:: Improve the new product development process to deliver new products on time, that our customers want, with performance that they expect and with a design that we can reliably manufacture and we or the customer can easily install. .

  • Sustaining Engineering: Update and improve existing product lines to maintain customer expectations of ChemDAQ products.

  • Advance Engineering Practices: Drive continuous improvement in engineering tools, processes, and documentation standards, elevating the team's capabilities in preparation for rapid growth.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product Management and Operations to address customer and business needs with current products and contribute to priority-setting across the leadership team.

  • Management Team: Be a key member of the management team, to contribute your understanding and experience to the management of the company.


What You Bring

Required

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience within a high-growth technology company or a similar industry, such as instrumentation, sensors, chemical detection, or industrial safety.

  • At least 5 years of engineering leadership or management experience, with a demonstrated ability to develop and retain technical talent.

  • Experience working within a regulated quality system, ISO 9000 or equivalent, preferably in a small technology company environment. Experience of implementing or developing new quality standards is preferable.

  • Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with gas detection, chemical monitoring, or environmental health and safety technologies.

  • Familiarity with stage-gate product development processes and managing product launches from concept through commercialization.

  • Experience preparing an organization for ISO 9001 certification or similar quality milestones.
