Hospitality Office Associate

Department: Diet Office Location: 2 Coulter Rd, Clifton Springs, NY 14432 Hours Per Week: 20 Schedule: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, every other weekend

Summary: Responsible for the functions of the diet office and hospitality services which includes the organization and input of patient/resident menus to ensure accuracy of diet orders, timeliness of meal delivery and facilitates interdepartmental coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a Liaison between Food Services and all other departments with respect to patient meals and diets.
• Delivery of meals and nourishments according to established patient identification policies and procedures.
• Assist with all activities related to meal services.
• Knowledge of fluid restrictions, tube feeding, diet orders and standards for restricted diets.
• Ability to transfer medical record information into menu software to ensure diet, allergies and modifiers are processed accurately.
• Communicates patient needs and concerns with patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Maintain a positive representation of Food and Nutrition Services through professionalism, hygiene and uniform.
• Record and maintain unit refrigerator temperature logs according to facility standards.
• Answer and log all incoming calls to the nutrition office.
• Maintain the highest level of customer service as outlined by department and RRH Standards.
• Generate reports, tallies, calorie counts, nourishment labels, tray tickets, etc. and process information within established time frames.
• Responsible for accurate delivery and filling of supplies to units as required.
• Maintain work areas in a safe and orderly manner.
• Responsible for attending and retaining all staff meetings and in-service training
• May be responsible for daily back up of menu software.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the department.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred.

Fermilab Infrastructure Services Division Crew Chief

The expected hiring range for this position is: $30.45-$39.37. Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position, qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.

About the Role

The Fermilab Infrastructure Services Division seeks highly motivated Roads and Grounds Crew Chief to join the Roads & Grounds Group. Under direct supervision, you will perform tasks to maintain Fermilab site roads, grounds and related facilities.

What Your Day-To-Day As The Groundskeeper Crew Chief At Fermilab Will Look Like

• Coordinating, organizing and performing snow removal operations and overseeing snow removal crews as the "first call responder".
• Overseeing and performing landscape maintenance activities including but not limited to mowing, trimming, pruning, plant care, pesticide application, fertilizing.
• Overseeing and participating in landscaping repairs which may require hauling, spreading, and seeding of topsoil, and installation of erosion control materials.
• Overseeing and participating in execution of tree removal with the use of chain saws, chippers, aerial lifts and stump grinders.
• Overseeing and participating in prairie and woodland restoration activities including prescribed fire management, and the control of invasive plants using herbicides.
• Overseeing and participating in the maintenance of the underground storm water drainage systems, including cleaning, repairing, and replacing culverts, catch basins, and drainage tiles.
• Overseeing and participating in maintaining the Fermilab owned bison and assist with wildlife capture and control activities
• Other duties as assigned by supervising manager.
• Abiding by and being responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Possesses a valid Commercial Driver's License A or B without air brake restriction.
• Possesses an Illinois Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator's license.
• Ability and willingness to obtain an Illinois Certified Prescribed Burn Manager Certificate.
• Has completed OSHA 30 Hr. Construction training.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) which include Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
• Ability to work independently and harmoniously in a group setting.
• Ability to abide by all environment, safety and health regulations.
• Willingness to respect, understand and value individual differences that embody laboratory principles of diversity and inclusion.

Off-Campus Housing Navigator

Fort Lewis College (FLC) is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual for the role of Off-Campus Housing Navigator. This pivotal role addresses housing insecurity among our student population by managing and expanding our off-campus housing assistance services. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in fostering housing security, and will work towards creating an inclusive and supportive environment where all students have access to safe and affordable housing options.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee current off-campus housing assistance services including educational workshops, host-family coordination, case management, and financial assistance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local landlords and housing providers.
• Assist students in finding suitable off-campus housing options.
• Grow the community host-family program to offer more housing options.
• Streamline campus emergency housing processes.
• Create, advertise, and implement programming focused on housing stability, including workshops on "How to Read and Negotiate a Lease" and "Know Your Tenant Rights."
• Provide individualized support to students navigating housing challenges.
• Coordinate with campus services to ensure comprehensive support for students facing housing insecurity.
• Assist the Student Housing department with student move-in and move-out processes at the beginning and end of each semester.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent housing-related issues.
• Foster a sense of community and support within the student housing environment.
• Report to and collaborate with the Coordinator of Basic Needs and the Student Housing Director.
• Oversee a student housing security intern on projects related to off-campus housing.
• Work closely with various campus departments and community organizations to address student housing needs effectively.
• Advocate for student housing security at the local, state, and national level through coalition and policy work.
• Promote all programs and services through various media, including social media platforms.

Track data, maintain available housing resources within the community, county, and surrounding areas, research best practices, and lead assessment strategies to ensure programs are intentional and effective.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of tenant rights and lease negotiation.
• Experience working with marginalized populations is highly desirable.
• Strong organization and record keeping skills.
• Experience with successful grant procurement and management.
• Fluent in Spanish or a Native American language.

Salary: The salary range is $51,500 to $57,000, plus a competitive benefits package.
