Qualifications

Education : Possession of an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in total course credits/units (at least 60 semester or 90 quarter credits/units with a minimum of 20 semester or 30 quarter credits/units in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely-related field).

Experience : Five (5) years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.

Substitution : Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to two years). One year is equivalent to 30 semester or 45 quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in one of the specified fields.

Note: Applicants must meet the minimum qualification requirement by the final filing date unless otherwise noted. One-year full-time employment is equivalent to 2000 hours; overtime is not included in the calculation for full-time employment.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Strong background in integration architecture, API strategy, and systems interoperability.
  • Experience with SaaS case management systems (e.g., OpenGov, Accela, Clariti) or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern integration approaches.
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Power BI) and data governance frameworks.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically savvy Partner Solution Architect to serve as a technical leader within our partner ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of technology, go-to-market strategy, and partner engineering, with a focus on enabling Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to integrate, build, and co-sell solutions on the VAST Data Platform. You will work closely with strategic ISVs in data, analytics, cloud, and AI markets to architect joint solutions, support technical integrations, and drive partner-led demand generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Technical Leadership
  • Be the technical authority and trusted advisor for strategic ISV partners, guiding them on architecture, integration, and optimization of solutions with the VAST platform.
  • Lead deep architectural discussions with partner engineers, CTOs, and product teams to shape joint solutions that solve real customer problems.
  • Influence partner and product roadmaps by surfacing customer insights and co-innovation opportunities back to VAST product and engineering teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and labs teams to accelerate integrations and resolve technical issues.

Solution Architecture & Enablement

  • Enable partners to integrate and deploy their products on the VAST Data Platform.
  • Lead technical validation, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security across VAST products.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for onboarding, joint solution development, and ongoing partner support.
  • Design, document, and evangelize reference architectures, best practices, and repeatable patterns for partner integrations (data pipelines, analytics, cloud services, AI/ML workflows).
  • Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs), sandboxes, and demos that demonstrate joint solution value to partners and customers.
  • Build technical assets — demo kits, architecture diagrams, sample code, solution briefs to accelerate partner success and enablement across the ecosystem.

Ecosystem Enablement & Collaboration

  • Train and certify partner technical teams, delivering workshops, webinars, and deep-dive sessions to elevate their capability on the VAST platform.
  • Collaborate with VAST Alliances, GTM, Product Marketing, and Sales Engineering teams to align joint value propositions, enable co-sell plays, and support field activities.
  • Represent VAST at partner summits, industry events, user groups, and conferences, showcasing joint solutions with strategic partners.

Strategic Impact

  • Identify repeatable partner use cases that accelerate adoption and drive measurable business outcomes (revenue, pipeline, customer references).
  • Advocate for partner ecosystem needs internally and help shape VAST’s partner strategy and architectural standards.
  • Contribute to partner readiness and onboarding flows to scale technical collaboration across global ecosystems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, partner engineering, or similar roles with enterprise software, cloud, analytics, or data platforms.
  • Deep technical expertise in database and analytic platform technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data warehouses/lakes, vector databases). Hands-on experience with Spark, Trino, or other query engines.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, containers/Kubernetes, database architectures, and data platform design.
  • Experience with data engineering (tools, Python, Spark), AI/ML data pipelines, analytics workloads, and real-time data processing.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and persuasive executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversees clinicians in assessing the needs of individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
  • Oversee the team in responding where the person is (home, community) and not restrict services to select locations within the county or particular days/times.
  • Oversee the team in helping individuals experiencing a crisis event to experience relief quickly and to resolve the crisis situation when possible.
  • Ensures the team provides appropriate care/support through diversion of emergency department use and hospitalization and law enforcement response.
  • Connects individuals to facility-based care as needed through warm hand-offs and coordinating transportation when and only if situations warrant transition to other locations.
  • Manages the team in scheduling intake and outpatient appointments for individuals in crisis 24 hours a day 7 days a week to facilitate rapid access to outpatient service and continuity of care.
  • Manages and monitors performance such as call volume, number served, response time, and time to crisis resolution/warm handoff as well as the number of crises resolved in the community.
  • Ensures the MCR team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field is required.
  • Completion of a clinical practicum.
  • Two years Post Master experience in a mental health setting required.
  • Two to three years supervisor experience required.
  • LPC, LICSW licensure is preferred.
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Must have a good MVR.

Job Description

The Medical Affairs organization provides patients, healthcare providers, and payers everywhere with the practical and clinically relevant information and solutions they need to use AbbVie products safely and effectively, throughout the product lifecycle and the patient’s journey.

The Scientific / Medical Director, Medical Affairs provides specialist medical and scientific input into core strategic and operational medical affairs activities for AbbVie’s Oncology portfolio such as: health-care professional and provider interactions; generation of clinical and scientific data (enhancing therapeutic benefit and value); educational initiatives, scientific communications, value propositioning, and safeguarding patient safety (risk minimization activities and safety surveillance activities).

The Scientific / Medical Director works closely with commercial and research and development teams to provide critical medical input into evolving core medical, brand (product), and value and access strategies to support our evolving on‑market and therapeutic area needs.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with Global Medical teams, Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, HEOR and other functional areas, provides leadership and support for assigned indications/projects.
  • Works closely with Brand Teams and relevant cross‑functional, area/affiliate medical teams, to provide strategic input into core asset strategy, and is responsible for executing medical support/launch activities for gynecologic oncology initiatives.
  • Conducts promotional review and assists in the development of scientifically accurate marketing materials, medical education programs, advisories, and symposia.
  • Serves as Medical expert for internal and external stakeholders regarding asset clinical profile, value, and appropriates; and provides Medical review for cross‑functional deliverables, ensuring compliance and scientific accuracy.
  • Develops innovative research concepts, generates evidence, and drives execution of scientific communication plans, including high‑quality publications, presentations, and educational programs.
  • Engages and cultivates relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific advisors, and advocacy groups within the gynecologic oncology community.
  • Monitors the evolving relevant therapeutic landscape to inform business decisions and anticipate future needs.
  • Leads the development and execution of advisory boards.
  • May lead delivery of medical functional plan, brand plan, and/or integrated evidence plan.

Qualifications

Position will be commensurate with education and experience.

For Scientific Director:

  • Advanced Degree PhD or PharmD. Additional post‑doctorate experience highly preferred.
  • 7‑10 years of experience in Medical Affairs with Global Medical Affairs experience highly preferred.
  • Substantial understanding of relevant therapeutic area required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical trials direct management experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia or equivalent. 4+ years of experience is preferred.

For Medical Director:

  • Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degree or equivalent (D.O. or non‑US equivalent of M.D). Relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital environment preferred. Completion of residency and/or fellowship is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical trial or medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia or equivalent. 5 years of experience is preferred.

Other

  • Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, data analysis and interpretation, regulatory requirements governing clinical trials and experience in development strategy and the design of protocols.
  • Ability to run a clinical study independently with little supervision.
  • Proven strategic leadership, influencing, and collaboration skills in cross‑functional environments. Ability to interact externally and internally to support global business strategy.
  • Expertise in evidence generation, scientific communication, and health economics/outcomes research.
  • Must possess excellent presentation, organizational, and written/oral communication skills.
