Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • ASCP or MT-AMT certification (required in OR & HI)

  • 5+ years clinical lab experience preferred; hospital CLS experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise technologists, phlebotomists, and lab support staff

  • Maintain lab policies, procedures, and quality standards

  • Ensure specimen integrity, proper handling, and accurate testing

  • Manage inventory, scheduling, and staff performance evaluations

  • Comply with CLIA, CAP, FDA, Joint Commission, AABB, and OSHA

  • Rotate as CLS in multiple lab departments as needed

  • Weekend coverage and occasional call required

  • Use Epic EMR for documentation
