7. Performs procedures and treatments using nursing knowledge and judgment, according to established unit/practice area guidelines and professional standards.

9. Maintains clinical competency with respect to technology and utilizes equipment in a safe manner. 

10. Performs as an advocate and as an educator for patients and families. 

11. Provides high quality in an efficient and a safe manner. The professional nurse utilizes data trends to support and improve clinical practice. 

12. Participates in hospital and/or unit based patient safety and quality activities and uses principles to support and improve patient outcomes (unit-based, hospital-wide, The Joint Commission, NPSGs, NDNQI, Patient First and other local, state and federal patient safety initiatives. 

13. Participates in performance improvement activities through data collection, analysis and evaluation.  14. Champions quality, safety, regulatory, and patient-family satisfaction.

Lowell General Hospital’s Pain Management Center cares for patients with acute or chronic pain that has not responded to conventional therapies.  The center is led by board-certified pain management physicians along with a team of nurses, physical therapists and other professionals specially trained in a variety of techniques to manage pain.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse that will:  

  • Provide professional nursing care to the pain patient and assist with procedures and recovery of post procedural patient.

  • Maintain current knowledge in Pain Management in order to assess for and provide adequate pain management education for acute and chronic pain.

  • Formulate an interdisciplinary approach to providing patient care, developing a plan of care, patient education and discharge planning.

  • Collaborate with practitioners and inpatient and outpatient departments and coordinate adjunct therapies and referrals to outside disciplines for appropriate treatments.

  • Oversee clinical and clerical ancillary staff.

  • Maintains Pain Management and hospital related competencies, policies and procedures.

Hours: 24 Hours per week- days

      • Collaborate with all medical, clinical, and therapeutic disciplines to foster a patient-focused, team-oriented culture that delivers superior service and outstanding outcomes.

      Qualifications
      • Possess a current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
      • Hold BLS certification (ACLS preferred).

      • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field, unless a higher degree is mandated by state regulations.
      • Advanced Degree, plan to receive an advanced degree, or knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree required unless otherwise specified by state regulation.
      • Five years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
      • Two years of recent (within the last 5 years) Nursing Management experience, with responsibilities including 24-hour accountability, FTE management, policy, procedure, and budgetary oversight, as well as conducting disciplinary action.
      • May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts.
      • May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.

      Responsibilities:

      As a Sales Lead Generator, you'll collaborate closely with our esteemed National Big Box Retail Home Improvement Store personnel.  The primary object of this role is to engage customers in conversations regarding heating and cooling enhancements, air quality enhancements and energy conservation.  Your goal is to promote home performance tune-ups and schedule business leads for free, in-home consultations.  Our proficient industry sales experts will handle the rest!

       

      Pay:

      • Hourly rate of $20 - $22 per hour PLUS commission pay.
      • Average hourly earnings of $25-30/hr after commissions.
      • Weekly pay via direct deposit.

      Location:

      • Homestead, PA

      Schedule:

      • Thursday through Sunday shifts.
      • Hours may vary but typically are from 10:00am – 4:00pm
      • Weekly in-office meetings are required.
      Qualifications:
      • Ability to work independently in a retail environment.
      • Willingness to approach, speak and engage with customers.
      • Sales experience is preferred, but a vibrant personality can compensate.
      • Driven personality with an internal competitive spirit to exceed goals.
