Senior - Principal Engineer - Water Systems & Water Supply Planning
The Senior – Principal Engineer role will contribute to the development of the firm’s Water Business Sector, which encompasses water system, water resource, stormwater, recycled water, and collection system planning. Previous experience with Water System Planning/Hydraulic Modeling is required. Candidates with a desire to develop their career toward technical leadership, client service management, and/or regional/sector management are ideal.

Key Responsibilities & Functions

  • Serve as a technical leader in water distribution system hydraulic evaluations utilizing a variety of commercial hydraulic modeling software programs (e.g., InfoWater Pro, OpenFlows WaterGEMS, Aquanuity, etc.).
  • Work as part of teams on projects throughout California and Oregon with an emphasis on Southern California‑based projects and clients.
  • Analyze water use, population, water quality, and facilities condition data.
  • Evaluate water supply availability.
  • Develop water supply and water system capital improvement programs.
  • Prepare technical reports and master plans.
  • Serve as a project manager directing the hydraulic modeling and master planning work of senior level, as well as other staff engineers.
  • Provide QA/QC review on the work of others in the water planning team.
  • Interact directly with clients and provide excellent client service.
  • Assist with marketing activities and proposal development when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience with Water System Planning and Hydraulic Modeling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., InfoWater Pro).
  • PE licensure in the State of California (PE licensure in other states in which the firm is actively practicing may also be considered).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to process accurate engineering calculations unaided and prepare reports.
  • Proven ability to summarize technical information using appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling for concise reader‑friendliness and clarity.
  • Experience with direct client interaction and proposal writing.
  • High proficiency with InfoWater PRO; experience with Aquanuity software.
  • Maintaining professional competency may require attending education classes and seminars, reading professional publications, and attending professional society meetings.

  • Participate in Portfolio Credit Manager (PCM) responsibilities including industry reviews, portfolio monitoring, drive strategy improvements, provide effective challenge, etc.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of merchant underwriting process and related fraud control processes including an understanding of identity theft, first party fraud, synthetic identity fraud, and bust out fraud
  • Drive cross-client loss-avoidance initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to reduce losses and strengthen controls.
  • Partner with Credit, Senior PCMs, and client teams to support portfolio growth while maintaining disciplined risk appetite and performance.
  • Design and implement enhanced surveillance and early-warning monitoring to detect emerging risk and manage credit exposure
  • Enforce bank credit policy and underwriting standards; ensure consistent, compliant decisioning and governance
  • Develop and deliver client-facing and internal executive presentations on portfolio performance, risk themes, and recommended actions.
  • Monitor and escalate operational risks across the portfolio; recommend process improvements and control enhancements.
  • Support driving enhanced strategies, using champion/challenger learnings to manage credit and fraud risk
  • Participate in planning cycle with Finance, Client Development, Marketing, and other functions to ensure consistency in business plans
  • Investigate and resolve customer/client issues, coordinating root-cause analysis and remediation to improve experience and reduce repeat events.
  • Provide ad hoc analytics and reporting to support leadership decisions, client needs, and special projects.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in a commercial Credit/Risk role; or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience in a commercial Credit/Risk role
  • 5+ years’ experience in a credit risk/fraud strategy development role
  • 5+ years SAS/SQL/Python programming experience (proficient level)
  • Excellent temperament and ability to work through uncertainty, collaborate respectfully across functions & teams, and find solutions to issues

Pay Range

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $144,200.00 - $288,400.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design enterprise data models supporting complex Salesforce and external system integrations
  • Develop MuleSoft integration patterns (API‑led, event‑driven, real‑time, batch)
  • Lead integration architecture, API strategy, error handling, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with developers on RAML specifications, flows, mappings, and connectors
  • Ensure alignment with security standards, data governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Support data migration strategies, data quality, and transformation logic
  • Review integration approach documents, sequence diagrams, and design artifacts
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and support environment coordination

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years designing enterprise integrations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and API ecosystem
  • Hands‑on MuleSoft integration experience
  • Knowledge of REST, SOAP, ETL, JSON, XML, OAuth
  • Experience with Agile delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect
  • Experience with public sector solutions and cloud modernization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments

About The Role

This role will focus on client‑side application development across installation workflows, end‑user UI, application lifecycle management and enterprise deployment support. The ideal candidate has strong experience with C# and Rust, along with a background building desktop or endpoint client applications that can be deployed and managed at scale through enterprise deployment tools and MDM platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain client‑side applications and features for Keeper’s endpoint and desktop experiences
  • Build and improve installation, configuration, upgrade and update workflows for client software
  • Develop user‑facing functionality and administrative controls using C# and Rust
  • Support enterprise deployment scenarios across MDMs, endpoint management platforms and software distribution tools
  • Partner with product, support and engineering teams to improve usability, deployment reliability and client performance
  • Implement client‑side workflows for enrollment, setup, policy application, status visibility and user notifications

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • Experience with software installation, packaging, upgrade flows and application lifecycle management
  • Experience supporting enterprise software deployments at scale
  • Familiarity with MDMs and endpoint management platforms used to deploy and manage applications
  • Experience designing and implementing client‑side UI and administrative workflows
  • Strong understanding of Windows application behavior, permissions, user context and managed‑device considerations
