Additional certification by the American Board of Headache Medicine welcomed but not required.
  • Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge in the management, diagnoses and treatment of complex headache and facial pain disorders, including performing interventional procedures, participating in interdisciplinary care and research.
  • Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), BHSF has been teaching residents at FAU since 2018, and most recently launched a 16-resident neurology program at FIU in 2025.

Job Summary

  • The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) has ultimate administrative responsibility for nursing standards and practices across all areas of the hospital.   • Prepares for and participates in regulatory and accreditation surveys
  • Develops and implements orientation and professional development programs for nursing staff
