Area Supervisor

The Area Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in our Finishing Department, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow across trimming, inspection, folding, bagging, and packaging operations.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing teams, driving quality, and improving processes. You will lead daily operations, support production goals, and partner closely with Manufacturing leadership to ensure products meet NSA's high standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team within the Finishing Department to meet production and quality goals
• Assign and balance daily work to ensure efficient workflow and alignment with production priorities
• Perform and oversee quality inspections to ensure all garments meet NSA standards and customer requirements
• Identify and address quality issues, returning non-conforming products for rework as needed
• Communicate production issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Director of Manufacturing and leadership team
• Train employees on processes, equipment, and quality expectations to drive consistency and performance
• Maintain proper inventory levels of packaging materials and supplies to avoid disruptions
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency, quality, and workflow enhancements (OFIs)
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety on the production floor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred
• Experience in apparel, textiles, or finishing operations is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Comfortable using production systems and reporting tools
• Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) to support effective communication with a diverse workforce

Job Title

Responsibilities

• Perform daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives with the agency's written procedures including, but not limited to:
• Service accounts, including account transactions such as quote and issue policies, ID cards, proposal endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company request needs on a timely basis.
• Supports and informs coverage plans as necessary.
• Insurance marketing and sales.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Claims support.
• Review new/renewal policies and endorsements to insure items were received as ordered.
• Maintain accuracy of client data in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC)
• Document all activities in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC)
• Understand and utilize upload, download and interface technology.
• Assist other agency departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies in their department for which we have a mutual client.
• Keeping Producers informed of all important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management.
• Keep current with industry trends including participation in educational seminars and classes for improvement of insurance/sales skills and license compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers
• Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes in these provisions
• Complete other functions and assignments as assigned including back-up duties.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty Producer License or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire date.
• Strong organizational skills- ability to prioritize and be proactive.
• Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions and deal with a variety of variables furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Applied Systems / EPIC experience a plus.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma required, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
• CPCU or special training course completion a plus.

Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Description

Responsible for managing the collection of Accounts Receivable in compliance with established policies. Includes communication with external and internal customers to maintain status of accounts through collections of payments, account reconciliations, backlog management and dispute resolution.

Essential Functions

• Assign appropriate codes to customer accounts for collection purposes.
• Assist with AR Audit processes and documentation.
• Assist with training of new AR Analysts.
• Escalate collection issues appropriately as prescribed in the Best Practices worksheet.
• Follows prescribed documented procedures to ensure accuracy and audit requirements.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain current status of accounts and monitor credit limits.
• Process A/R portion of new business partner workflow.
• Record collection efforts appropriately.
• Review and approve customer orders in the order system based on the credit line and payment status.
• Under broad supervision collect on outstanding Accounts Receivable for a variety of distributions using an assortment of reports and programs.
• Understand and communicate department results.
• Work with Credit Analysts to manage challenging accounts.
• Work with internal customers for information & resolution of payment issues.
• Work with Senior Cash Application Analyst to apply payments as needed.
• Assist Cash Applications and AR with PCI compliance.
• Assist team with Credit Card Charges and corrections.
• Upload and deposit cash and electronic payments received.
• Assist with researching unapplied/unallocated payments.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Additional Essential Functions

• Support auditing and accounting functions for Cash Applications.
• Acts as backup for all Cash Application processes.
• Work closely with external financial facilities.
• Complete the dispute research and resolution process.
• Completes month end requirements in appropriate timeframe.
