                          We are seeking a Special Procedures Tech on a PRN basis. As our Special Procedures Technologist, you will operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status).We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.

                          • You will demonstrate accountability and responsibility and performs procedures and care in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner.
                          • You will prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
                          • You will perform technical radiographic procedures in accordance with established operating procedures and routines accurately and in a timely manner.
                          • You will assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
                          • You will obtain high quality radiographic images; reviews quality of radiographs to insure quality standards have been met. 
                          • You will obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and obtains informed consent in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
                          • You will maintain effective communication with patient; provides explanation of procedures within scope of practice.
                          • You will maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists.
                          • You will be responsible for rotating call will be assigned.

                          Qualifications

                          • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
                          • Associate Degree from a 2-year AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
                          • Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
                          • Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experience 
                          • Minimum of 1 – 3 years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one (1) year of IR experience
                          • Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus. 
                          • BLS required and ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

                            • Consistently complete sales calls and presentations, while cultivating and handling a large portfolio of potential accounts aiming to meet personal target sales expectations.
                            • Utilize existing network, a mid-sized list of account leads and insights derived from research and relationship engagements to gain business or interest from small, nuanced or manifold potential accounts in a delegated region and/or industry.
                            • Conduct in-depth, targeted market research leveraging advanced market awareness, contacts and an in-depth understanding of the competitive environment to identify and target potential business opportunities.
                            • Frequently interface with internal and external senior level stakeholders and assist senior colleagues who specialize in a preferred market and/or industry with advanced aspects of the deal process.
                            • Be a member of various professional and industry or regional organizations and attends conferences and relevant events to expand and maintain a large professional network, represent the company and gain exposure and insight as to various specialties.

                            We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
                            • Broker License.
                            • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
                            • Minimum of five years' experience with new business development required, ideally with large group insurance experience.
                            • Proven insurance industry experience with individual and group insurance products.
