Senior Principal, Technology Consulting (m/f/x)
AmaliTech
Raymond, IA

Senior Principal, Technology Consulting (M/F/X)

AmaliTech is a global consulting and technology services provider, enabling businesses to scale their digital capabilities, accelerate innovation, and bridge critical tech talent gaps. With a team of over 500 professionals operating across Germany, the US, Ghana, and Rwanda, we blend the strategic insight of tier-one consulting expertise with the technical excellence of certified software engineers and data scientists to deliver digital solutions at globally competitive rates. Our services - spanning consulting, AI, data analytics, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, web & app development, and managed services - are tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients while ensuring smooth, real-time collaboration across global teams. As a social business, we reinvest our surplus into initiatives that advance skill-building and inclusion in the tech space in sub-Saharan Africa.

This practice is less than a year old, and you are joining early enough to shape it. We move fast, with flat hierarchies, quick decision-making, and low bureaucracy.

From early on, you will own your client account(s), oversee your delivery teams, and have the opportunity to contribute to our business development.

This role is designed for someone ready to make the transition from leading workstreams to leading engagements, from supporting client relationships to owning them, and from contributing to a consulting practice to helping build one.

Direct mentorship and support from our CEO (Martin Hecker, former Senior Partner at BCG, where he led the Technology Advantage practices across CEMA and the United States) and our COO (Christian Ruckteschler, formerly at BCG and the World Bank Group, and a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Oxford).

Alongside our partners (including AWS, Microsoft, Anthropic, and others), we use AI both as a client value-creation lever and within our own delivery model. We care less about AI strategy decks than about applications, workflows, and operating changes that actually get deployed.

With our team and clients spread across Germany, the US, Ghana, and Rwanda (with additional locations in planning), your work will be truly global from day one and include regular travel opportunities. Unlike traditional consulting setups, our travel is focused and periodic you are not expected to be on-site with clients on a weekly basis.

We exist to reposition Africa on the global technology map and to foster tech ecosystems that generate opportunity and prosperity for generations to come. This is not a side narrative but is anchored in our business model and ownership structure.

We are building a technology consulting practice focused on private-equity-backed companies and technology-enabled value creation. Founded in 2026 by our CEO and COO both former BCG consultants the practice is growing rapidly. You will join at a stage where the operating model, methodologies, team structure, propositions, and client portfolio are still being built, giving you the opportunity to help shape them alongside us.

Typical engagements in this practice include:

  • Identifying and prioritising tech-enabled value creation levers for portfolio companies
  • Building data platforms and AI-driven analytics capabilities
  • Delivering KPI dashboards and reporting for senior management and investors
  • Developing AI-enabled applications and automation
  • Overseeing large transformation programs (e.g. ERP migrations)

You will combine the strategic outlook of a trusted advisor to senior executives and investors with the hands-on discipline of owning technical implementation and delivery oversight a role that shapes a client's digital agenda from the boardroom to the build.

Building this practice also means growing it from within, developing ambitious young tech professionals from our locations in Ghana and Rwanda into capable consultants and future leaders of our consulting practice. Every engagement we deliver contributes directly to building globally competitive tech ecosystems and career opportunities in our African locations.

You are not expected to have done all of this independently before. We expect you to grow into this level of responsibility quickly, initially with close support from our CEO and COO.

  • Client relationships: You will quickly grow into primary ownership of selected client relationships, initially working closely alongside our CEO and COO.
  • Engagement leadership: You will run engagements end to end, including scope, timeline, budget, and risk.
  • Escalations: You will manage escalations directly, including situations where a vendor or workstream is underperforming.
  • Commercial ownership: You will help turn successful delivery into lasting client relationships identifying follow-on opportunities, shaping proposals and scopes, and protecting engagement economics.
  • Practice development: You will help build the technology consulting practice itself, including developing junior and mid-level consultants from our Ghana and Rwanda hubs into future members of the practice.
  • Technical translation: You will translate business requirements into scoped, deliverable work for our engineering teams, and translate technical constraints back into terms clients can act on.
  • AI-forward delivery: You will help clients identify where AI and automation genuinely create value, then ensure our delivery teams build toward it.
  • Team leadership: You will lead cross-functional delivery teams including engineers, business analysts, and data specialists based in our African delivery centres.

The common denominator we are looking for is not a particular employer or technology stack: you have combined structured problem-solving with real technology delivery and are ready to grow from leading major workstreams into owning engagements and client relationships.

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience, although trajectory matters more to us than years served. Typically, you will have built your foundation in:
    • Technology consulting
    • Digital transformation
    • Technology-enabled delivery
    • IT program management / ERP transformation
    • Or adjacent fields
  • Demonstrated project management rigour, including experience running structured PMO processes on complex, multi-workstream engagements.
  • A demonstrated bias for ownership: comfort taking on ambiguous problems and running toward them rather than waiting for a framework or someone else's sign-off.
  • Genuine appetite for delivery, not only advisory work: you want to be there at go-live, not just at the recommendation stage.
  • Comfort translating between business and technical stakeholders: you do not need to be an engineer, but you need to have sat close enough to technical delivery to speak the language credibly.
  • Stakeholder management: evidence that you can independently manage senior client stakeholders, with the judgment and presence to grow into primary ownership of C-level relationships.
  • Evidence of commercial instinct: you understand that good delivery must also create client value and sustainable engagement economics, and can spot opportunities, manage scope, and contribute to shaping follow-on work.
  • A passion for team development and intercultural teaming: you are excited to work with international delivery teams and to develop talented colleagues from Ghana and Rwanda into strong consultants and future practice leaders.

Strong plusses (not all required):

  • Prior exposure to private equity portfolio companies: value creation planning, 100-day plans, due diligence, or investor/deal-team reporting.
  • Experience on an ERP or major enterprise systems of record implementation
  • German language fluency, given our client base.
  • Experience directing distributed or offshore/nearshore delivery teams.
  • Exposure to applied AI or automation initiatives inside enterprise settings.

Hybrid, based in Germany or the US.

Regular presence at one of our office locations (Cologne, Germany, or Houston, US)

Occasional travel to client sites.

Occasional travel to your teams in Ghana and Rwanda.

Hazel Health

Job Description

Job Description
Help students get the mental health care they deserve.

At Hazel Health, we're transforming access to pediatric mental health care by partnering with schools to bring high-quality virtual therapy directly to students.

We've also entered an exciting new chapter. Hazel Health recently joined forces with Little Otter, a leading provider of whole-family pediatric mental health care. Together, we're expanding access to evidence-based behavioral health services and creating new opportunities to support children and families with innovative, high-quality care.

As a Hazel therapist, you'll have the flexibility of a part-time virtual role with the support of a collaborative clinical team, a steady stream of referrals, and the stability of W-2 employment. We handle the administrative work so you can focus on delivering meaningful care that changes lives.

Why Clinicians Choose HazelFlexibility
  • Build a schedule that works for you—set your own availability and adjust your hours as needed.
  • Enjoy the stability of a W-2 role with the flexibility of part-time virtual work.
Support
  • Focus on care while we handle referrals, credentialing, billing, and bi-weekly payroll.
  • Deliver care through our secure telehealth platform and easy-to-use EHR.
  • Receive clinical support through onboarding, consultation groups, an on-call support line, and weekly clinician newsletters.
Growth & Impact
  • Access free continuing education and opportunities for ongoing professional development.
  • Join a collaborative team committed to clinical excellence and improving outcomes for children.
  • Help students access high-quality mental health care they might not otherwise receive.
What You'll Do
  • Provide evidence-based virtual therapy to K–12 students.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Partner with families, school staff, and care teams to support student success.
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation and deliver care aligned with evidence-based best practices.
  • Assess and respond to clinical risk while following organizational safety protocols.
What You'll Bring
  • Active, unrestricted Texas license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
  • Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Comfortable delivering care via telehealth.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Passion for expanding access to high-quality pediatric mental health care.
Schedule

This is a flexible, part-time virtual role designed to fit alongside your existing clinical work.

To ensure we can meet the needs of students and families, clinicians are expected to maintain availability for at least 7 sessions per week during peak demand hours, which include:

  • School hours for school-based sessions
  • After-school hours
  • Evenings
  • Weekends
Compensation

We believe clinicians should be compensated for the full value of their work—not just time spent in session. As a W-2 Hazel clinician, you'll receive paid administrative time, compensation for eligible client no-shows, and a steady stream of referrals while we handle billing and credentialing so you can focus on providing exceptional care.

Session Rates

Zone 1 (Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, and Washington)

  • $40–$85 per completed clinical session (based on session length)
  • $30 for eligible late cancellations (within 24 hours) or no-show appointments

Zone 2 (All other U.S. states where this position is available)

  • $30–$80 per completed clinical session (based on session length)
  • $20 for eligible late cancellations (within 24 hours) or no-show appointments

In addition, required training, meetings, documentation completed outside of compensated sessions, and other approved non-session work are paid at $20 per hour. Therapists are compensated for all time worked in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Benefits & Support

Part-time employees receive benefits and resources designed to support their well-being and clinical practice, including:

  • Flexible scheduling—you set and manage your own hours

A Career Path for People Who Naturally Support Others

Many educators and coaches reach a moment where they want to keep helping people grow — just in a new environment that offers flexibility, professional development, and long-term earning potential.

At Impact Insurance Agency, we partner with local businesses to provide supplemental insurance solutions that support employees and their families during life's unexpected moments. Teachers, mentors, and trainers often find this role to be a natural extension of what they already do best: building trust, encouraging others, and guiding meaningful conversations.

If you're someone who leads with empathy, enjoys connecting with people, and finds purpose in helping others succeed, this opportunity offers a rewarding next chapter.

The Opportunity

This entry-level outside sales role blends education, relationship-building, and ongoing client support. You'll meet face-to-face with business owners and employees, helping them understand benefit options in a way that feels clear, supportive, and approachable.

You don't need previous sales experience. Our structured training program is designed specifically for individuals transitioning from education, coaching, or other service-driven roles.

As an independent contractor, you'll manage your own local territory while working within a collaborative environment that provides mentorship, guidance, and consistency.

What You'll Do
  • Build genuine relationships with local business owners and their teams

  • Lead enrollment-style conversations that feel educational rather than sales-driven

  • Listen carefully and offer thoughtful, people-focused solutions

  • Support onboarding, follow-ups, and long-term client relationships

  • Manage appointments, scheduling, and territory activity

  • Step-by-step onboarding designed for educators transitioning careers

  • Hands-on field mentorship and real-world learning

  • Health & Life licensing assistance and reimbursement

  • Coaching focused on communication, leadership, and relationship-based service

  • A collaborative culture built on encouragement, not pressure

Compensation & Structure
  • Commission-based income with performance bonuses

  • Average first-year income: $65,000–$85,000 (performance-based)

  • Optional 6-week base draw while building your client base

  • Flexible daytime schedule with autonomy over your territory

  • Advancement opportunities into mentoring, training, or leadership roles

Ideal Background

This opportunity may resonate with you if you:

  • Have experience as a teacher, coach, educator, trainer, or mentor

  • Enjoy helping people feel confident in their decisions

  • Communicate with warmth, patience, and professionalism

  • Thrive in relationship-driven environments

  • Value collaboration and meaningful impact in your work

  • Are willing to obtain a Health & Life Insurance license (support provided)
