Phlebotomist I

Phlebotomist I is responsible for accurate collection and handling of patient laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing according to established best practice in a manner that enhances patient and caregiver engagement.

Essential Functions

• Phlebotomist I is responsible for accurately collecting patient specimens for diagnostic testing while working in a professional medical environment. This position functions as part of a dynamic and engaging team with a workload that ranges from fast-paced hospital settings and high/low volume clinics. Caregivers in this role will gain valuable experience and knowledge to help prepare them for workplace and career advancement.
• The Phlebotomist I perform specimen collection using many different techniques such as venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab collections. These caregivers collect specimens from patients of various acuities, such as Outpatient, Emergency Department, and Inpatient including newborns, patients in intensive care, and all other areas of the hospital. They are at the forefront of patient care and adhere to and enforce the standards for laboratory compliance and safety regulations.
• Adherence to personal protective requirements in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, including but not limited to gowns, gloves, lab coats, face shields, and masks.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Administer and document regularly prescribed medications per the Medication Administration record observing the five rights for safe administering of meds and per physician orders.
• Order meds from the pharmacy when and as prescribed, 7 days prior to running out of meds, and as requested by the Wellness Director to ensure that residents always have medications available. Ensure these medications arrive, if not notify the Wellness Director within 24 hours.
• Immediately after administering medication to a resident, document in the resident's medical record those medications given. Date and initial the bubble pack after taking the medication from it.
• Observe and report to the licensed nurse reactions and side effects of medication administered to the residents.
• Take and record vital signs prior to administration of medications which could affect or change vital signs as ordered by the Physician or Wellness Director.
• Administer PRN medications, per physician order.
• Required to report any medication error to the Wellness Director immediately.
• Assist with development and review of the resident's care plan in conjunction with other disciplines
• Ensure residents privacy, respect and dignity
• Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions which may result in harm to a resident
• Assure physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being of residents
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents, such as toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls, etc

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Must be capable of making decisions with the interest of the residents at heart and supportive of company policies and decisions.

Continuing Education: as required by law and must attend monthly in-service education and training within the community.

Other: Must be able to read and write English. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procurement manuals, etc. must have good communication skills and must be able to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral directions. Provide maximum resident-care services within limits defined by delegated tasks. Must show good judgement in recognizing symptoms indicative of a resident's change in condition. Work with licensed nurses; be aware of limitations and not attempt to exceed these limitations.

Job Knowledge: Perform the functions of medication administration. Knowledge of required Medication Administration Procedures. Good understanding of basis of universal precautions to avoid infection of residents and self or contamination of equipment and supplies.

Industry Experience: Minimum three years' experience in senior living preferred and a passion to work with seniors. Previous experience with an Assisted Living community.

Ophthalmic Photographer

Retina Care Specialist of Florida offers state-of-the-art vitreoretinal care, all physicians have trained at the most renowned and respected retina and ophthalmology programs in the world. This practice offers various diagnostic procedures as well as focusing on disorders of the eye.

Position Summary

We are now hiring an Ophthalmic Photographer. This person will work as part of a team of clinical research coordinators to implement clinical research. They will specifically be responsible for obtaining ophthalmic images (photography, OCT, other) and storing/transmitting the images per protocol. This candidate will also serve as the primary BCVA ETDRS coordinator.

Responsibilities

This position requires customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a degree of independent decision-making.

Photography skills include:

• Identify and image ocular anatomy for diagnostic and documentary photography
• Perform single and stereo fundus photography
• Photograph posterior pole through and around dense or opaque media
• Slit lamp and gonio photography
• Perform Angiography and obtain images (both FA and ICG)
• Red free posterior pole and stereo imaging
• Fundus Autofluorescence and diffuse external photography
• Complete CITI certification and work within the framework of an IRB for clinical trials and studies
• Certify for assigned clinical trial photography studies
• Complete images and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience
• Required: CRA/COT/OCT-C Certifications (One of these are required)

• Training and experience in phlebotomy, specifically venipuncture

Reporting to the Head of CI & RPM, this role proactively identifies, evaluates, and shapes external opportunities across PROTACs, molecular glues, monovalent/direct degraders, degrader platforms, E3/UPS biology including CRBN, VHL, and novel E3 ligases, target engagement, proteomics/chemoproteomics, structural and computational degrader design, Degrader Antibody Conjugates (DACs), next-generation induced-proximity technologies such as RIPTAC and TCIP, and other oncology-relevant targeted-delivery or induced-proximity modalities.

Business Development retains accountability for partnership strategy, business discussions, negotiation, valuation, and commercial terms.
• Contribute to the development of intelligence infrastructure and best practices for horizon scanning, opportunity mapping, and external engagement across CI & RPM

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA, or equivalent) in Oncology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, external innovation, academic collaboration, or scientific partnering.
• Strong understanding of oncology drug discovery, translational science, and modality platforms (e.g., next gen ADCs, engineered biologics, engineered small molecules).
• Proven ability to engage with scientific leaders and navigate early-stage biotech and academic ecosystems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex scientific information into strategic insights.
• Prior experience in academic liaison, external innovation, or strategic scouting in pharma/biotech or venture ecosystems.
• Familiarity with CI platforms, digital literature monitoring tools, and academic/biotech databases.
• A strong network in academia or biotech focused on oncology.
• Experience in competitive intelligence, scientific scouting, or innovation strategy within oncology.
• Familiarity with academic-industry collaboration models and consortia-based innovation.
• High digital literacy and comfort with landscape analytics, scientific intelligence platforms, and conference tracking tools.

Location and Working Environment

This position is based in Cambridge, MA or San Francisco, CA. Remote work from anywhere in the US is available.

Salary Range

$170,450 - $243,500 (Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and organizational equity considerations)
