Inside Customer Service Representative - Wholesale Account Growth
Bosun Solutions
Woodstock, GA

Inside Customer Relations Representative Wholesale Account Growth

A growing consumer products company is seeking an Inside Customer Relations Representative to help grow and strengthen its wholesale business.

This is a relationship-focused role centered on wholesale account management, customer retention, reorders, account reactivation, and sales growth. You'll work with retail buyers and store owners to build relationships, encourage repeat business, identify opportunities, and keep accounts engaged between trade shows.

The role supports two brands: an established luxury accessories brand sold through boutiques, gift shops, resorts, and specialty retailers, and a new faith-forward wellness brand entering the wholesale market.

This is not a traditional road-sales or cold-calling position. We're looking for someone who understands wholesale retail and enjoys developing long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Wholesale Account Growth

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of wholesale accounts.
  • Re-engage inactive accounts and turn first-time buyers into repeat customers.
  • Follow up with new accounts to understand sell-through and identify reorder opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with key retail customers through phone, email, and wholesale platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to increase order size, product selection, and order frequency.
  • Introduce new products, collections, pricing updates, and seasonal opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with retail buyers and store owners.

Trade Shows & Markets

  • Help prepare for and support major wholesale markets and trade shows.
  • Schedule appointments and reconnect with key accounts before markets.
  • Represent the brands professionally at trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Follow up with new leads and accounts after events.

Customer & Order Support

  • Serve as an inside contact for wholesale customers and outside sales representatives.
  • Assist with order status, shipping, fulfillment, and account questions.
  • Coordinate with operations and the warehouse to resolve issues quickly.
  • Introduce the newer brand to existing wholesale accounts where there is a natural fit.

Account Management & Reporting

  • Keep customer information, follow-ups, and next steps organized.
  • Maintain consistent outreach schedules for key and repeat accounts.
  • Use Faire and other wholesale tools to communicate with customers.
  • Track account activity and report on reorders, outreach, and wholesale growth.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a self-motivated, organized, personable, and commercially minded relationship builder who can take ownership without being micromanaged.

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, wholesale sales, account management, customer relations, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with retailers, buyers, boutiques, gift shops, apparel, accessories, or consumer products.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and developing customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and online ordering platforms.
  • Professional appearance and communication when representing the brand at trade shows.
  • Preferred:

    • Wholesale gift, apparel, accessories, luxury, boutique, or consumer products experience.
    • Previous experience as a Wholesale Account Manager, Inside Sales Representative, Account Manager, or National Sales Manager.
    • Experience with Faire, Shopify, or similar platforms.
    • Trade show experience

    Work Environment

This is primarily a remote position, with regular in-office time in Woodstock, GA, particularly during onboarding and as needed for collaboration and training. The frequency of office time may decrease as the employee becomes established.

This is not a road-sales role. Most work will be done remotely through phone, email, wholesale platforms, and account-management tools, with occasional in-person meetings and trade show participation.

    Why This Role Matters

The company has an established wholesale customer base with significant opportunity for growth. Many existing accounts have purchased once but have not yet reordered, creating a strong opportunity for someone who can build relationships and establish consistent follow-up.

Success in this role will come from:

    • Reactivating inactive accounts.
    • Turning first-time buyers into repeat customers.
    • Growing existing wholesale accounts.
    • Increasing order frequency and order size.
    • Building strong relationships with retail partners.
    • Supporting the launch and growth of a new wholesale brand.

Target start date: December 2026, with the goal of being fully prepared for the January wholesale market.
