Summary:

The position requires strong critical care skills, advanced clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics in high-acuity settings.

Essential Work Functions:
  • Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition
  • Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques
  • Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments, addressing physical and emotional needs
  • Record significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, notifying the appropriate provider of changes in patient status
  • Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters
  • Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
  • Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  • Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned within scope
  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Required Essential Skills:
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
  • Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
  • Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
  • Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
  • Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail

Proficiency in budgeting, contract management, and public relations. Compensation

The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.Basic Qualifications: This position may be hired as a Principal or Sr Principal Project Management based on below:Principal: Bachelor’s degree in STEM AND a minimum of 5 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in aviation/project management, OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in project management OR a High School diploma and a minimum of 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in aviation project management in lieu of degree.Sr Principal: Bachelor’s degree in STEM AND and a minimum of 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in aviation/project management, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in project management OR a High School diploma and a minimum of 12 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in aviation project management in lieu of degree.Ability to attain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.Aviation background with 8+ years of professional/military experienceLogistic management knowledgeBOE DevelopmentPreferred Qualifications:Current DoD Secret clearance (or higher)Large aircraft platform experience 707, C-130, P-3, 737Extensive experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead.Earned Value ExperienceDemonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goalMS Project experienceMaster’s Degree in a technical or business related fieldA&P LicenseProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification#LCSpring2026Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
