AmeriCorps is a federal agency connecting individuals and organizations through service and volunteering to tackle the nation's most pressing challenges. The Unified Government has been a proud AmeriCorps grantee for more than fourteen years and operates the largest AmeriCorps VISTA program in the State of Kansas.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and coordination of the AmeriCorps VISTA Program. This position serves as the primary operational support for members and host sites by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, training, member support, compliance activities, and program communications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support DOSM and Sales team

• Assist with managing the day-to-day operations in the Sales office

• Coordination of requests for site inspections

• Collate, prepare and submit monthly reports to DOSM for final review

• Conduct site inspections for walk-ins when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

• Enrollment in a college or university program, where internship is applicable for course credit
