Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, make eye contact, and use a friendly verbal greeting.
  • Pull each guest's chair and lay the napkin in their lap.
  • Present menu and answer any questions regarding the menu items.
  • Be prepared to answer questions regarding the preparation methods and continuous table side serving concept.
  • Take and serve beverage and dessert orders and communicate to the Churrasqueiros any special requests for meats.
  • Place orders with Cashiers for processing and payment.
  • Assist other Servers in their areas when appropriate.
  • Complete any beginning or closing shift duties.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to transport objects up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work at a quick pace.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available for full-time, hourly Team Members on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability are provided where allowed. Position Details:

This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Business and Information Technology department and reports to the Department Chair. Computer Information Technology instructors that can teach hyflex courses (meaning face-to-face instruction supplemented with online instruction) are needed.

Responsibilities:

This is a part-time faculty position. Responsibilities will include teaching one or more Computer Information Technology courses, developing appropriate course syllabi, and working with students as needed. Courses will be hyflex, meeting on the Kilgore campus typically two days a week and communicating via online technologies the remainder of the time. Adjunct faculty members teach and supervise all learning experiences and evaluate student performance in the classroom.  Current course needs are Integrated Software Applications, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.

Minimum Qualifications:

An associate’s degree or higher is required in information technology, computer science, or computer information systems. Candidates must also have at least 3 years of fulltime experience working as an IT professional.  Industry certifications are highly desirable. Previous teaching experience is a plus.

Salary Range & Fringe Benefits:Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,800 per 3-hour course for up to a bachelor's degree to $2,100 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
