General Description

The Physician provides quality management of primary care and HIV/AIDS patients within his/her specialty area. The Physician preforms a wide variety of medical procedures including screening, physical exams, specific history, assessments and diagnoses. Uses written protocols efficiently, identifies quality care issues, and initiates problem solving and innovation. Records health history, findings, treatments and recommendations accurately, clearly and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Educates and acts as a resource for the primary care and HIV/AIDS patient/family for proper self-management, follow- up, and compliance with established treatment to develop and maintain long-term relationships with patients/families as a HIV/AIDS physician. Maintains a positive working relationship with management, vendors, other hospitals, employees, patients, and patient's families to ensure effective departmental operations and patient centered/patient valued health care services.
• Provides input developing, monitoring and revising annual goals and objectives for the health center that supports the goals, objectives, standards, and the mission of Aids Arms, Inc.
• Provides input with the selection, training, motivation, supervision, and evaluation of clinical staff to ensure maximum utilization of individual and group capabilities, while providing optimal service to internal and external customers.
• Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field of primary care HIV/AIDS medicine by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and maintaining licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.
• Displays collaborative practice and acts as a consultant for mid-level practitioners and nurses for clinical management.
• Identifies and analyzes the design of jobs, work processes, workflows for the health center. Modifies approach, communication and interaction to take into account sensory impairments and specific needs of all customers. Provides services to clients in culturally and linguistically competent fashion. Recommends appropriate changes to improve effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency that support the objectives, standards and overall goals of Aids Arms, Inc.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact primary care and HIV/AIDS medicine. Develops effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws, and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state and private health plans. Seeking advice and guidance as necessary to ensure proper understanding.
• May provide input for annual budgets that ensure clinical operations have the necessary funds to carry out the goals and objectives that have been established for clinical services.
• The physician will attend regular staff meetings and may serve on various committees as assigned. May participate in clinical research as directed. May assist with special projects as assigned.
• Participates in CQI projects. Identifies and analyzes the design of jobs, work processes and flows for the department. Suggest or implement appropriate changes to improve work effectiveness, productivity and efficiency that support the overall goals of the Clinic
• Completes necessary paperwork for private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid eligibility as instructed by the Medical Director.

Skills & Qualifications

• The physician position requires a high level of initiative and the ability to coordinate all aspects of the medical care within the specialty area provided to the patient
• This position may require creative problem solving and skills in crisis management
• Must be proficient in primary care issues and sexually transmitted infections

Education and Experience

• Licensed physician for the State of Texas. Must be board certified or board eligible in family medicine, internal medicine or infectious disease
• The physician candidate must have sufficient annual Continuing Medical Education

Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Staff Materials Engineer to drive the slurry and dispersion development behind next-generation electrodes for our iron-air technology. This role reports into the manager of Discharge Cell R&D within the Advanced Technology Team. As a Senior Staff Materials Engineer or Scientist, you will develop aqueous slurry formulations, characterize particle- and materials-level behavior, and identify process-property relationships in partnership with chemists, materials scientists, and battery engineers. You will bring a materials-first lens to how particles interact within complex, electrochemically active systems. What you'll do:

• Define the approach, characterization strategy, and success criteria for new formulation problems where no established method exists
• Design, formulate, and optimize aqueous slurries containing active materials and conductive carbon additives, balancing particle behavior with downstream processability and battery performance
• Diagnose and resolve dispersion formulation and stability challenges in chemically active or corrosive continuous phases, drawing on first-principles understanding of particle-to-particle and solvent-mediated interactions
• Build and operate a comprehensive materials and slurry characterization toolkit
• Translate raw data into predictive models of particle behavior, stability, and performance
• Serve as the subject matter expert in particle and materials science for the R&D organization and represent the function in cross-functional and program-level design reviews

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of work experience, Master's degree with 10+ years of work experience, or PhD with 6+ years of work experience in Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Deep knowledge of particle and materials science, including colloidal, interfacial, and particle-to-particle interactions
• Experience working with electrochemical systems or devices (battery-specific experience not required)
• Demonstrated experience developing slurries, dispersions, or particle-laden formulations for demanding applications, such as battery electrodes, fuel cell catalyst inks, ceramic or coating slurries, or comparable multiphase systems
• Proficiency developing and using electrochemical and materials characterization techniques (e.g. rheometry, zeta potential, impedance spectroscopy) to establish process-property and structure-property relationships that predict slurry and battery performance
• Intellectual curiosity and pragmatic problem-solving when tackling formulation challenges with no established playbook
• Experience setting technical direction and mentoring experienced technical staff
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
