General Objectives:

1. Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for clients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
2. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.
3. Supports the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area.
4. Supports the shared governance vision and nursing obligations of membership which guide the practice of all nurses at Valley View Hospital.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
• ACLS and PALS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date or obtained with six months of hire.

Salary Range:

• $36.76 - $54.06/hour (ADN)
• $37.50 to $56.23/hour (BSN)

Registered Nurse Job, 12 Hours Night Shift (7p-7:30a), Med Surg 4 North

Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for 4 North to work nights at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

The 4 North Unit is a 24 hour medical/surgical unit located on the fourth floor of the hospital. Patients over the age of 12 years may be admitted to this unit; however the average age is 65. Most common types of patients admitted to 4 North include patients with respiratory conditions, fever, dehydration, renal failure, electrolyte imbalance, gastrointestinal conditions, post CVA, wound infection, orthopedic cases and general surgical cases.

Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates.
• Practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of PH by providing the highest quality care.
• Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

Position Summary

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be the central player in the sales activities within your assigned territory. You will focus on maintaining existing customer business as well as for growing the company's business through a consultative selling process. Responsibilities

• Territory Sales Manager develops a sales strategy for acquiring new business within an assigned area. This will be based on a combination of factors including the use of: trade leads, show leads, referrals, existing customer base, and new prospects identified through our contact management database of competitive accounts.
• Territory Sales Manager services existing customers which may include the evaluation of the condition of current equipment bought updating customers on new products, ensuring existing equipment is being used properly, helping customer with any quality issues, and ensuring that our competition is not diminishing our ongoing business.
• Territory Sales Manager provides the necessary start-up or in-service training for any new healthcare facility including training of the dietary staff on the proper use of a new system or how to use our capital equipment properly and to monitor its performance during an initial period.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in business (or comparable experience)
• Minimum of two years sales experience preferred.
• Experience in the institutional food service industry and/or a healthcare system is necessary.
• Experience in the healthcare market and/or equipment sales a plus.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 75%.
• Must live within assigned territory (Southern Texas) preferably Houston, San Antonio, Austin MSA.

Certified Medical Assistant Or Licensed Vocational Nurse

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team in a professional and compassionate manner within the clinic setting. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, including administering immunizations and providing health education to patients of all ages in accordance with established clinical standards.

The CMA/LVN prepares patients for examinations, obtains and documents vital signs and health information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and assists providers to ensure optimal patient care and flow. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and delegating referrals, prescribed medications, and other patient needs; maintaining medical supplies, medications, and equipment; and ensuring accurate documentation of all care provided.

• Use our delivery app to complete assigned stops and follow customer instructions
• Collect return bags and ice packs and return them to your pickup location at the beginning of your next shift
• Communicate clearly and consistently with our dispatch team to keep routes moving
