This role is primarily remote; however, occasional on‑site presence in the Seattle area may be required for client meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and team meetings. Candidates must be able to attend in‑person sessions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end product roadmap and backlog for highly complex platforms and services
  • Define features, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams including engineering, architecture, UX, and operations
  • Evaluate system and integration dependencies, technical constraints, and risk mitigation
  • Support release planning, sprint execution, and continuous delivery in Agile environments
  • Drive prioritization based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact
  • Oversee production issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical incidents
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and platform security standards
  • Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and customer experience indicators

Required Skills

  • Expert knowledge of microservices, APIs, and enterprise integrations
  • Experience with cloud‑native environments (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and Docker
  • High‑concurrency systems design and performance optimization
  • Proficiency in database design (SQL, NoSQL, Cassandra, Neo4j)
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution skills
  • Understanding of telecom device ecosystems, RCS, eSIM, and network services
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring tools
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum and enterprise delivery frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Define, execute, and institutionalize the vision, global strategy, and overall product roadmap of the MCU and MPU embedded software.
  • Define and position software releases within a broad new MCU and MPU family, ensuring success throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external third parties to define and implement a differentiated embedded software strategy.

  • Collaborate with silicon design teams and embedded software development teams to create and implement software requirements, ensuring alignment with performance, feature, and cost targets.
  • Drive internal and external resources to ensure readiness of all aspects of product releases.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs between engineering constraints, schedule limitations, customer experience, cost, and time to market.
  • Identify and resolve strategic issues that could impact the team’s ability to meet technical, engineering, and schedule goals.
  • Develop solutions and business cases for key MCU and MPU application markets, including Healthcare/Fitness, Building/Factory Automation, Smart Energy, Appliances, Consumer, and IoT.

Qualifications

  • BS Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2+ years of experience in business development, field applications engineering, marketing or related roles. MSEE or MBA is a plus with an aptitude for the following:
  • Embedded programming using C language
  • Experience creating applications for 8, 16, and/or 32-bit microcontrollers, with and without an RTOS
  • Experience or strong knowledge in the AI/ML technology is an added advantage
  • Experience with or strong interest in software marketing in the semiconductor industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as regular interfacing with customers, partners and global colleagues will be a significant aspect of the job.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player who is able to take direction, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $171,000 - $225,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities and commission pay. The final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
