The Forklift Operator, Non Formula transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots, on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area and replenish/re-stock pick slots in a timely manner ensuring all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met and to maintain the efficient flow of the production process Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Locates proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into appropriate unit. Locates and performs count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
  • Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders. Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and/or remove outdated out of date inventory according to company policy.

  • Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
  • Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
  • Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.
  • Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallet for staging.
  • Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience

Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position

Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift

Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift

Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry

Pass pre-employment drug test

💰 Pay Range: $87,000 – $102,000 ($24–$28+/hr., based on experience + overtime)

We are currently looking to add a Heavy Equipment PM Mechanic to our team at the Halfway Landfill Facility near Carlsbad, NM. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably on Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron. 🔧 The Job:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Diesel Trucks and Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron.

• Complete work orders and documentation using our fleet maintenance software.

Schedule: 100% outdoor role • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM • On‑call nights & weekends

Waste Connections is seeking a hands‑on, safety‑focused Landfill Gas Technician to join our team in Oakdale, LA. This role is fully outdoors and requires working in all weather conditions. You’ll be part of a small, skilled team responsible for maintaining and optimizing the landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) that supports safe and compliant landfill operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain landfill gas system components in the field

  • Pull, clean, and service pumps according to the preventive maintenance schedule

  • Perform well‑field valve and vacuum adjustments to ensure proper system performance

  • Run and fuse poly pipe as needed for system expansions or repairs

  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain electronic monitoring and data‑collection equipment

  • Respond to after‑hours GCCS alarms or malfunctions on an on‑call rotation

  • Complete additional duties as assigned to support landfill operations

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed entirely outdoors, year‑round, in all weather conditions

  • Frequent exposure to dirt, odors, uneven terrain, and other landfill‑related elements

  • Requires strenuous physical activity, including lifting, pushing, and pulling items over 50 lbs.

  • Regular walking, bending, climbing, and working on slopes or rough ground
