This position is located at the West Fraser Lumber Mill located in Henderson, Texas. The Industrial Manufacturing Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, correcting, and maintaining all electrical equipment within the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Test electrical systems and circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or repair
- Troubleshoot, program, and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Work with vendors to identify needed parts and recommend to Supervisor
- Understand and update instrumentation loop diagrams, E & I drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Program AC & DC variable speed drivers
- Update power distribution system, MCC, and switch gears
- Install electrical equipment
Required skills and experience include:
- Lock-out procedures
- Detail and accuracy oriented
- Planning and organizing skills
- Communication skills
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Works well in a team
- Highly motivated
Other required skills:
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime and to be on-call to support 24/7 operations
- Have 4-5 years of Electrician work experience in a Industrial/Manufacturing environment
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
Experience with:
- Allen Bradley PLC5
- Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5000
- Allen Bradley Panelviews
- Allen Bradley Communications – Devicenet & Ethernet
- Scanning and Optimization systems within the Lumber Business (Porter, USNR)
- Process Network Communication Systems and Components – Ethernet & Fiber Optic

Your New Role
Create and maintain project schedules and budgets using Microsoft Project and related tools in Dublin, California
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, addenda, and project documentation
Maintain compliance logs and contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Support payment applications, cost tracking, and financial reporting
Draft subcontracts and coordinate with subcontractors
Work with Superintendents to verify progress and prepare pay applications
Review submittals and assist with constructability reviews
Monitor daily reports and communicate updates to project leadership
Follow OSHA standards and ensure safety compliance on all projects
Travel to job sites as required
Assist with document control and project coordination tasks
Operate company vehicles and handle light physical duties up to 30 pounds
Be available outside standard hours when project needs require

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
2 to 4 years of experience in construction project management
Experience with commercial or security construction is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe, or Bluebeam
Experience with Timberline or similar construction accounting software is a plus
Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is preferred
Knowledge of construction documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and contracts
OSHA 30 certification
Valid driver’s license
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
