Overview

The Temporary HR Data & Document Clerk will provide dedicated administrative and data support for a 90-day HR records consolidation project. This position will assist with the organization, scanning, review, uploading, and consolidation of physical and electronic employee and new-hire onboarding documentation as part of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources/people management system integration.

The primary objective of this assignment is to ensure required records are accurately processed, appropriately stored, and consolidated within the organization's designated system of record/source of truth. This project supports organizational recordkeeping and compliance commitments, including requirements associated with county partners and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).

This is a project-based position well suited for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working independently with technology and electronic records, and able to perform repetitive, detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review, organize, and process electronic HR and new-hire onboarding documents.
  • Scan, organize, and process physical personnel files and convert hard-copy records into accurate electronic records.
  • Prepare, sort, label, and refile physical personnel documents and file folders in accordance with established records-management standards.
  • Upload documents into the appropriate employee or candidate records within designated systems.
  • Consolidate documents currently maintained across multiple locations into the established system of record.

Project Expectations

This position is being established specifically to support completion of a defined HR document-management and systems-integration project within approximately 90 days. The successful candidate will work against established production and quality expectations, with progress measured throughout the assignment.

By the conclusion of the project, the goal is to have the identified HR and onboarding documentation processed, reconciled, and consolidated into the designated source-of-truth system, supporting the organization's recordkeeping and compliance commitments.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills and comfort learning new technology and software systems.

What You Will Do: The Generations Consulting Team Leader, will lead a team of wealth strategists holding advanced designations who are responsible for supporting branch teams and complex client engagements to better meet client needs and deepen client relationships through the delivery of our HNW client experience. This team will be responsible for the performing deep discovery, at times constructing financial plans where they are held to a fiduciary standard, and collaborating with 3rd party service providers. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute team objectives and drive team performance (feedback, training & coaching) in support of department and firm objectives.
  • Partner with financial advisors and clients to gain understanding of client's needs, aid in documenting client goals, articulate investment strategy and recommendations, identify expertise needed to help the client achieve their goal, and help build relationships with clients and financial advisors.
  • Act as an advanced subject matter expert in their area of emphasis and have a strong understanding of financial planning topics, broad market opportunities and translate to strategic initiatives within various business areas to identify, create, and develop the most advanced client focused business building ideas.
  • Act as a resource for firm strategy, knowledge and interpretation of industry rules and regulations, and potential rule changes as it relates to area of expertise and translates to strategic initiatives within various business areas.
  • Perform as a subject matter expert on the most advanced planning topics including tools or client solutions to our branches through the various channels available within the department such as webinars and field-based training meetings. This may also include providing expertise for content development and acting as a subject matter expert for formal training programs lead by Enterprise Learning, WMAS Content Creation or other areas.
  • Lead department, division, and/or firm-wide committees and projects; demonstrating the ability to influence without authority with peers and senior leaders.
  • Manage, create, and ensure adherence to department written supervisory procedures (WSPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for communication with the public, professional designation reviews, and information barriers.

What Experience You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • CFP designation required
  • Active Series 7, 66 & 24 required or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • 11+ years' experience of industry experience
  • Ability to travel to target markets up to 20%.
  • State Life and Health Insurance license preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Experience working with high net worth clients and financial advisors
