Overview

Build a New Women’s Oncology Division in Phoenix

The Specialty Alliance is seeking a motivated Gynecologic Oncologist to help launch and lead a new women’s oncology division in the Greater Phoenix market. This is a unique opportunity for a physician who wants to do more than join an established practice — it’s a chance to help build something enduring within a growing, physician-led platform that already has a strong foundation in GI, GI infusion, Urology, and Radiation Oncology.

Women\u2019s Cancer Center Institute of Arizona

We are looking for a physician leader who is excited about the opportunity to shape a growing oncology service line focused on women’s cancer. With strong operational support, marketing resources, referral development assistance, and transition support, this role is ideal for someone who wants long-term upside and the ability to influence clinical direction, growth strategy, and practice development from the ground up.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This opportunity is a strong fit for a physician who wants to help build and support a growing oncology division with Radiation Oncology support, while also benefiting from downstream revenue and long-term financial upside. Phoenix continues to offer strong growth potential, particularly in private practice oncology, and this model has the potential to be highly successful with the right physician leadership.

We are committed to expanding the team with additional providers over time, including Medical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Breast Surgery support. The right candidate will have the opportunity to help shape a collaborative women’s cancer program with meaningful clinical and operational input.

Practice Highlights

  • Build a new gynecologic oncology division within an established physician-led platform.
  • Work alongside Radiation Oncology support and broader oncology infrastructure.
  • Help develop a women’s cancer program with long-term growth potential.
  • Benefit from operational support, marketing, and referral relationship development.
  • Join a platform with an existing presence in GI, GI infusion, Urology, and Radiation Oncology.
  • Participate in a model with both clinical autonomy and long-term financial upside.

About Phoenix

Phoenix continues to be one of the most attractive growth markets in the country, with a strong and expanding population base, robust referral potential, and a favorable environment for private practice specialty care. The metro area offers year-round sunshine, excellent schools, major universities, and a high quality of life for physicians and families.

Compensation and Support

  • Competitive compensation structure.
  • Long-term financial upside tied to growth.
  • Strong operational and marketing support.
  • Assistance with transition logistics.
  • Referral development support.
  • Opportunity to be part of a growing, physician-led platform.

The Specialty Alliance

The Specialty Alliance supports independent specialty practices by providing the infrastructure, resources, and scale needed to grow while preserving physician leadership and clinical independence. Built for specialists, by specialists, we exist to empower the foremost physician-led groups in various specialties helping them thrive through scale, infrastructure, and innovation without compromising clinical independence.

Formed as part of Cardinal Health, The Specialty Alliance combines the strength of a Fortune 15 healthcare leader with the agility and values of physician governance. From our headquarters in Dallas, Texas, we’re building a first-of-its-kind national ecosystem where collaboration, excellence, and innovation define the future of specialty medicine.

Ideal Candidate

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologic Oncologist.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in practice building.
  • Strong clinical leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in working within a physician-led, multispecialty environment.
  • Desire to help create a coordinated women’s cancer service line.
  • Open to a role with growth, development, and long-term value creation.
