$31.12 per hour starting pay and throughout the first year of employment, will receive 3 pay increases.

** $1500 Sign-on Bonus --paid out as $500 after 90 days, after 6 months and after 12 months of full employment

Position will deliver to all types of customers including Foodservice. Drives the delivery vehicle and delivers product to the store. Responsible for ongoing rotating and stocking of product on store shelves, displays, in coolers and vending equipment. Builds small displays and sets up promotional materials as pricing signs and banners. Generates invoice and is responsible for daily settlement of cash and charges. Has frequent interaction with store management and store receiving personnel for acceptance of load as required. This position requires lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours and pushing/pulling using from 40 - 150 pounds of force, occasionally. It also requires reaching, squatting and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store. Unloads pallets of product from the delivery vehicle with an electronic pallet jack or 2 wheel hand truck, and puts the product in a designated area in the stores' backroom.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product and execute all promotions
  • Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift

Basic Qualifications:

Helpful Experience:

Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. Position is responsible for accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation. Follows warehouse instructions in building loads. Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse and loading them onto a pallet. Position is responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping. In most cases, pallets are loaded onto a trailer for local delivery. Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Mow, edge, and trim turf areas using powered and hand tools
  •  Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges
  •  Plant, cultivate, fertilize, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and hedges
  •  Dig, spread, and level soil using shovels, rakes, and other tools
  •  Install sod, mulch, pine straw, and other ground covers
  •  Install landscape edging, borders, and hardscapes (patios, walkways, retaining walls)
  •  Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance (fueling, oil, air pressure, safety checks)
  •  Fully fuel up all equipment at the end of each workday
  •  Clean and maintain job sites, including debris removal, storm cleanup, and trash pickup
  •  Ensure all work is completed in a timely, high-quality, and safe manner
  •  Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities

  •  Knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  •  Ability to operate mowers (zero-turn, push), trimmers, blowers, edgers, chainsaws, and irrigation tools.
  •  Strong communication and customer service skills.
  •  Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  •  Commitment to safety for self, co-workers, and the public.

Education and Experience

  •  High school graduate or equivalent desired
  •  Previous outside construction, landscape, or similar field experience
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must
  •  6 months commercial landscape experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

  •  Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
  •  Ability to work in various positions (standing, kneeling, squatting, bending) for extended periods
  •  Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment
  •  Regularly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
