Associate, Investor Relations
Rex
Miami, FL

Associate, Investor Relations

Rex is a privately held ecosystem of entrepreneurial ventures led by Peter Rex, spanning real estate private equity, technology, insurance, and AI. We build businesses and investment platforms that generate both exceptional financial returns and meaningful societal impact. At the core of our strategy is investor engagement: attracting aligned capital partners who share our long-term vision. We are building the most compelling investor-facing ecosystem in the private markets. The role offers exposure to a uniquely diverse platform, combining institutional-quality real estate and high-growth tech ventures, all aligned under a singular mission-driven vision.

Our mission is to catalyze human flourishing through stewardship, serving people in all nations. We seek a transcendent impact, second to none, crossing geographies and making a permanent mark on history. We aim to uplift investors, foster flourishing families, create enduring trust, and contribute to a more beautiful world through our investments, products and services, and new ventures. Our investments are primarily in real estate, with additional allocations to tech, energy, and alternatives, employing a downside-protected, long-term approach to investing. We are grounded in timeless morals and seek to preserve and grow both investor capital and our own.

Rex is seeking an Associate, Investor Relations to own the onboarding and ongoing stewardship of our growing LP base. As capital formation accelerates across the platform, this hire is critical to ensuring every investor, from the moment capital is committed through years of partnership, experiences Rex with precision, consistency, and warmth. This role is anchored by three core mandates. First, own investor onboarding: once capital is committed, take full ownership of getting wires cleared and funding confirmed, coordinating subscription documents and e-signature workflows, then guide new LPs through their first year, building a seamless, high-touch introduction to the Rex platform and community. Second, steward LP communications with precision: lead delivery of weekly insights, monthly updates, quarterly reports, livestreams, and our annual investor summit with Peter Rex and senior leadership, maintaining institutional-grade transparency and trust at every touchpoint. Third, build and scale investor community: leverage CRM and AI-driven tools, including Claude, to keep communications warm and personal as the base grows, fostering a true Rexan community that drives reinvestment and deepens engagement over time. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, wealth management or family office client service, fund administration, or high-touch client success in financial services, with a demonstrated ability to manage relationships and communications with precision and care. They are digitally native and AI-fluent, comfortable using technology to scale high-touch experiences without losing warmth or authenticity. Program-oriented and detail-obsessed, they execute flawlessly under a recurring cadence of deliverables while translating complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling narratives. Must be missionary to the bone, viewing investor trust as a calling, not a transaction, and deeply committed to catalyzing human flourishing through stewardship. Fully remote, with preference for Austin as home base.

This role exists to make Rex's investor experience feel as institutional-grade as its underwriting, from the first wire to the tenth year of partnership. You will own the full lifecycle of investor stewardship: onboarding, communications, and community, ensuring no LP ever wonders where their capital stands or what Rex is doing with it. You will sit at the center of capital formation and portfolio operations, translating deal activity, fund performance, and platform milestones into a steady cadence of clear, credible communication. You will be the person new investors meet first and the person existing investors trust most, building the systems and rhythms that let high-touch service scale without losing its warmth. You will also be the connective tissue between CRM, AI-driven tooling, and human relationship management, using technology to personalize and scale outreach as the LP base grows, while never letting automation feel like distance. This is a hands-on, detail-obsessed role for someone who treats investor trust as sacred and precision as non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own investor onboarding end to end, from capital commitment through wire clearance and funding confirmation, managing subscription documents and e-signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign or similar) to ensure a smooth, error-free start for every new LP.
  • Guide new investors through their first year on the platform, building a structured, high-touch introduction to Rex's people, products, and community.
  • Lead the delivery of the recurring investor communications cadence, including weekly insights, monthly updates, and quarterly reports, maintaining institutional-grade transparency and consistency.
  • Coordinate and help execute investor-facing livestreams and the annual investor summit, managing production logistics (streaming platforms such as Zoom or Riverside, event coordination) alongside Peter Rex and senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date investor records and activity in the CRM, ensuring every touchpoint is tracked and every relationship has full context.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools, including Claude, to personalize and scale communications as the LP base grows, without sacrificing warmth or authenticity.
  • Build and nurture a genuine investor community that drives reinvestment, referrals, and long-term engagement with the Rex platform.
  • Translate complex financial, fund, and deal-level information into clear, compelling narratives for a sophisticated but non-institutional investor audience.
  • Partner closely with capital formation, fund accounting, and asset management, staying fluent in fund administration and reporting systems (e.g., Yardi, Juniper Square, or similar) to ensure investor communications reflect accurate, current information.
  • Identify friction points in the investor experience and continuously improve onboarding, reporting, and engagement processes.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for LP questions, requests, and relationship needs, embodying Rex's stewardship ethos in every interaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, wealth management or family office client service, fund administration, or high-touch client success within financial services, ideally with exposure to real estate or private equity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and communications with precision, consistency, and care under a recurring operational cadence.
  • Digitally native and AI-fluent, with genuine comfort using CRM platforms and AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to scale high-touch experiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling narratives for a sophisticated investor audience.
  • Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and comfortable owning operational processes (wires, funding confirmations, subscription docs, reporting deadlines) where accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Experience with investor CRM or IR platforms preferred (e.g., InvestNext, SyndicationPro, or similar); familiarity with fund administration systems such as Yardi or Juniper Square a plus.
  • Comfortable coordinating livestream and event production tools (e.g., Zoom, Riverside, or similar) for investor-facing broadcasts and summits.
  • Program-oriented mindset: able to execute flawlessly against a fixed cadence of deliverables while still bringing warmth and personal touch to each interaction.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with capital formation, fund accounting, and asset management to keep investor-facing information accurate and current.
  • Genuine relationship-builder who sees investor trust as a long-term asset to be earned and protected, not a transaction to be closed.
  • Deeply aligned with Rex's mission to catalyze human flourishing through stewardship.

Rex Ecosystem-Wide Mission

Catalyze Human Flourishing through our products and services and to elevate and further humanity in all our business dealings.

Rex Values / Rex Culture

  • Customer Fanatic. We fanatically focus on customers, seeking to ever-deliver more value, and inventing and innovating on their behalf.
  • Product/Service Passion. Our business thrives or dies by products and services.
  • Ludicrous Speed. Our default pace is extremely fast. Time is precious, life is short, and moving fast is more fun and effective.
  • FAWOMO. We will find a way, or make one.
  • Loves Going to War. Prefers wartime to peacetime, always hungry to move forward, do more, and push growth.
  • Chutzpah. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Fortune favors the bold. Duc in altum.
  • Fun. We should only do work, over the long run, that is fun, and work with fun people. Jokes and humor welcomed, PC stuff and uptight behavior prohibited.
  • Never-Lose-Money Approach. Protects the downside, using careful analysis before deploying significant resources, and ensuring cash is plentiful, never risking what others have and need for what they do not have and do not need.
  • Other-Centered. Idealist
