Associate Account Executive
Prizeout
New York, NY

Associate Account Executive

Prizeout is a leading NYC-based fintech transforming how people interact with their money by turning everyday transactions into rewarding, value-driven moments. We sit at the intersection of payments, rewards, and loyalty, empowering financial institutions to build deeper connections with their users. We're redefining how people engage with their money through smarter, data-driven rewards.

We're looking for curious, driven people who are energized by building relationships from scratch and want to grow with a team that's scaling fast. We keep the user at the center of every decision and we value humility, curiosity, and ownership.

About This Role

As an Associate Account Executive at Prizeout, you'll own credit union deals from first touch to signed partnership. You'll find the right institutions, build a relationship, and then carry those relationships all the way from discovery through demos, stakeholder buy-in, and close.

Cold outreach is the foundation of the job. Our buyers are relationship-driven and our sales cycles are long, so the people who win here are the ones prospects actually want to keep in touch with.

You'll work closely with senior team members. You'll get coaching and have support for the deals that need air cover, but the pipeline is yours to build and move.

What You'll Do

  • Own a book of credit union prospects end to end (from cold outreach through close)
  • Prospect relentlessly: cold calls, cold email, LinkedIn, and everything in between
  • Research and build target account lists, identifying the right executives and decision-makers at each institution
  • Run discovery calls and customized product demos
  • Manage deals through long sales cycles, keeping momentum toward next steps
  • Represent Prizeout at industry conferences and events
  • Own your forecast and keep the CRM clean
  • Test and iterate on messaging, sequences, and outreach channels

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in an SDR, BDR, or early-stage sales role (experience in a closing role preferred)

  • Proven ability to cold outreach and get meetings booked is required

  • Genuinely personable and comfortable striking up a conversation, in person or zoom

  • Evidence you can carry a deal past the first meeting

  • Persistent and resilient, comfortable with long sales cycles and hearing "not right now"

  • Organized and self-directed, able to work a pipeline without being managed day to day

  • Coachable and hungry to grow into a senior closing role

  • Experience selling into financial institutions, credit unions, or fintech is a plus

How You'll Be Paid

We built this plan to reward people who beat their number, not just hit it.

  • Competitive Salary (expected range is $90,000-$115,000)

  • Competitive uncapped commission structure

  • Stock Options

Please Note:

  • Must be able to work 5 days/week in our NYC office.

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. indefinitely. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Prizeout is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Jr. Digital Media Public Relations Specialist
webfx.com
Harrisburg, PA

Job Description

Job Description
Overview

The Jr. Digital Media Public Relations Specialist is a relationship-driven digital marketer who builds authority, visibility, and trust for brands across the internet through earned media, strategic publisher partnerships, and high-impact content ideation. This role sits at the center of modern PR, SEO, and AI Search visibility. You will cultivate long-term relationships with editors and publishers, pitch compelling story ideas, and orchestrate content placements that drive real business outcomes—brand authority, search trust, AI citations, traffic, and leads. Rather than writing all content yourself, you operate as a strategist, tastemaker, and editor-in-chief–style leader—developing story angles, headlines, and media narratives, then collaborating with writers and internal teams to bring those visions to life

What You’ll Do

Build & Manage Publisher Relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and publishers across major digital publications.
  • Pitch original, high-value story ideas that align with publisher editorial standards and audience needs.
  • Earn consistent publication opportunities through reputation, credibility, and the quality of ideas—not transactional outreach.
  • Act as a trusted contributor whose work helps publishers grow traffic, readership, and authority.

Drive Earned Media & AI Search Visibility

  • Secure earned placements, citations, brand mentions, and backlinks across authoritative third-party websites.
  • Help clients build trust and authority in the eyes of Google Search and AI search engines.
  • Specialize in earning AI Search citations and references — a core driver of visibility in modern search experiences.
  • Support both earned and strategic paid media partnerships when appropriate, always with ROI and authority in mind.

Content Strategy, Ideation & Tastemaking

  • Operate like an editor-in-chief: ideate story angles, headlines, themes, and narratives across industries.
  • Identify emerging trends, content gaps, and timely opportunities publishers want to cover.
  • Build content frameworks and creative direction for writers rather than executing all writing personally.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, authority positioning, and publisher expectations.

Brand & Reputation Building

  • Actively build and manage your professional digital footprint so publishers can research and validate your expertise.
  • Maintain visibility across social media, blogging platforms, personal websites, and journalism tools (e.g., Muck Rack).
  • Establish credibility through a history of high-quality publications and recognizable bylines.
  • Represent the company and its publishing network as a polished, authoritative media partner.

Owned Media Network Leadership

  • Help manage and grow owned digital publications within our media network (e.g., technology, lifestyle, and niche verticals).
  • Develop headline strategies and editorial direction that drive traffic, revenue, and authority for owned sites.
  • Use owned media to strengthen personal and organizational credibility with third-party publishers.
  • Contribute to positioning our network as award-winning, professional, and industry-respected.

Client Impact & Strategy

  • Translate media coverage into measurable client outcomes: visibility, authority, search trust, and lead generation.
  • Align publisher placements with broader digital marketing and SEO strategies.
  • Leverage your network to secure coverage across virtually any site on the web.
  • Help pioneer and scale innovative services in AI SEO and modern digital PR.

Who You Are and What We're Looking For

Education:
  • A Bachelor's Degree: All majors welcome!
  • GPA: 3.4 or above
(Upcoming grads are encouraged to apply - we interview and hire up to a year in advance!)

Suggested Experience and Skills

  • Relationship building and professional networking
  • Persuasive communication and pitching
  • Brand positioning and reputation management
  • Content strategy, ideation, and editorial direction
  • Digital PR, earned media, and authority building
  • Familiarity SEO, backlinks, and search trust signals
  • Deep curiosity about media trends, internet culture, and publishing ecosystems
  • Ability to see the “big picture” while managing many moving parts

Qualities and Traits

  • You think like a digital marketer, not just a publicist.
  • You’re comfortable being the face behind pitches, ideas, and media relationships.
  • You understand that where something is published matters just as much as what is published.
  • You love influencing narratives, shaping content direction, and spotting what will resonate before it trends.
  • You thrive in a role where credibility, reputation, and long-term relationships are the currency.
  • You’re energized by the future of AI search, digital authority, and earned visibility.

Don't stress if you don't have every experience listed - we hire for soft skills, and believe hard skills can be trained. If the job responsibilities sound interesting, and these traits sound like you, then we want to hear from you!

Why This Role Matters

This role is critical to how brands earn trust in today’s search landscape. Through relationships, reputation, and standout content strategy, the Jr. Digital Media Public Relations Specialist directly impacts client growth, search visibility, and industry leadership—across thousands of digital publications every month.
