Essential Functions

Designs an appropriate plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan. Adjusts the care based on patient response and available evidence.

Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.

Evaluates clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes of care.

Performs examination, selecting reliable and valid examination methods relevant to the chief complaint, results of screening, and history.

Produces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Process Policy (CTSCP67).

Screens patients using procedures to determine the effectiveness of and need fortherapy services, if appropriate.

Uses support personnel according to legal standards and ethical guidelines. Monitors the care delivered by support personnel and provides regular feedback.

If applicable, completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $36.74per hour - $63.19per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. As our Controls and Automation Technician, you'll be working with a highly motivated team skilled in the trade of industrial maintenance. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of a wide variety of plastics manufacturing equipment, support equipment and general facilities.

What you will work on:

You will apply root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills in response to breakdown calls and continuous improvement projects. You will use your communication skills and tools to share information with team members, our customers, and your management team on equipment status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting skills within the areas of mechanical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, robotics.
  • Advanced controls and automation knowledge including PLC, ladder logic, HMI's, VFD's, instrumentation, and calibrations.
  • Experience working with basic hand tools, machine shop equipment, precision measuring instruments, Volt/Ohm meters, amp meters, cutting and welding equipment
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft office and computerized maintenance management systems. Experience with CMMS systems SAP or eMaint a plus.
  • Experience with extrusion, thermoform, and zoom processing equipment and its support equipment such as material dryers, loaders and transfer systems is preferred
  • Ability to train/mentor junior team members with focused subject matter expertise in either electrical or mechanical repair

  • Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogues and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all industrial production and mechatronics equipment

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Include but not limited to:

  • Finish, paint, stain, clean, sand, color match and prepare furniture, cabinetry and components. 
  • Occasionally perform work in the field on job sites doing cleaning, touch-ups, precision repairs, painting, and re-finishing.
  • Supervise other Cabinet Finisher 1 & 2’s.
  • Daily communication flow with technicians, production manager, builders, general managers, and rest of staff.
  • Familiar with and follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized workspace.
  • Utilize all cabinet finishing related equipment and machinery including spray booths, spray guns, paint, stain, brushes, sanders, dust collectors, power tools, etc.
  • Keep inventory of materials needed for finishing cabinets and communicating to production manager before needs arise.
  • Proficient in working in a workshop and on-site customer environment.
  • Proper sanding of solid and veneered wood cabinet surfaces
  • Identify wood species, colors, materials, and grain patterns.
  • Ensure cabinet components are prepped and ready for finishing team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 3+ years finishing wood surfaces, cabinetry, furniture, or other trim carpentry
  • Ability to produce near-identical color matches of stains and paints to existing finishes
  • Experience working with all cabinet finishing related equipment and machinery including spray booths, spray guns, paint, stain, brushes, sanders, dust collectors, power tools, etc.
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain open-face spray booths.
  • Knowledge on laws and regulations in relation to VOCsStrict adherence to safety.
