Patient Service Representative

This onsite, non-exempt role is located at the Eye Associates of Vineland which is part of Prism Vision Group. There will be occasional travel to other locations based upon business needs.

Compensation Range: $18-$31.89/hr (Dependent on Experience)

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is responsible for providing the full scope of a) inbound and outbound access patient interactions and functions whether by telephone, internet or in-person, b) patient scheduling and logistics, c) executing daily workflows including cancellation, missed visit and tickler-recall deployment and d) executing revenue cycle claim scrubbing and missing slip completion.

Role and Responsibilities:

Schedule and accurately complete full registration for patients requesting appointments while adhering to policies and procedures regarding appointment scheduling and registration processes, performing these tasks accurately and with attention to detail to ensure the highest quality standards.

Initiate pre-registration process and ensure all demographic insurance information is accurate, complete and up to date on patient's chart.

Verification of insurance information, verification of benefits and insurance referral information.

Obtain legal photo identification and (if applicable) insurance card(s) and validate patient identity and coverage prior to services being rendered to ensure patient safety and financial reimbursement.

Adhere to HIPAA standards related to patient privacy and confidentiality.

Assure ease of patient flow through the clinical care process.

Provide patients with all required information regarding appointments and payment policies (e.g. medical records, parking, cash policies, anticipated charges, cancellation policy).

Provide upfront financial counseling services at time of check-in including identifying alternate funding resources and establishing payment plans.

Advise patients of financial obligations and collect funds according to established guidelines.

Act as a liaison/advocate for patients, physicians, and staff in facilitating ease of care and identify and resolve trouble spots and problem patterns in the provision of care.

Notify appropriate parties of the appointment time, referral criteria, insurance verification, and prior authorization requirements.

Train other patient services representatives and provide excellent customer service skills.

Comply with company policies and standards.

Position Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: 2+ Years experience in a patient facing healthcare function or other customer service function preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Bi-Lingual a plus.

Must possess excellent, critical thinking, analytical, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and customer service skills.

Mathematical and cash management skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with physicians, co-workers, other departments and patients of all ages, and from across a broad range of cultural and social economic backgrounds.

Ability to work as an integral team member under minimal supervision, in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Ability to show tolerance and sensitivity in stressful situations and safeguard confidential information in accordance with established policies and HIPAA regulations.

As a member of our team you'll enjoy excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and an encouraging culture that supports work / life balance.**Position Summary:** Customer Success Managers (CSM) are the frontline for all Clayton Home Building Group, building trusted business partnerships between our customers and our Home Building and Supply Facilities to provide value added services which supports sustainable growth and brand loyalty. It’s a role that combines traditional sales and market growth practices and aligns them with world class customer experience through training and teaching our customers to improve the collective business. By championing company initiatives, the CSM will work to create efficiencies in product and inventory management, technology, product quality, and sales management to continuously increase the value we provide our customers and ensure an overall world class customer experience.**Duties / Responsibilities:*** Responsible for creating market and product strategy by studying the various markets, market share potentials, and market growth potentials in assigned territories.* Execute sales and sales growth in assigned markets to supply the home building facility with budgeted production run rate.* Develop an empirical understanding of our target audiences – their attitudes, behaviors, needs, and opportunities for engagement.* Manage and maintain knowledge of products and merchandising, inventory management, and promotions, making positive adjustments when needed.* Elevate housing and perceptions of the industry and Brand through customer focus.* Oversee successful and efficient implementation of training in technology, social media, service and parts processes, consumer insights, and other forms of marketing as needed.* Continuously prospect new avenues to build market share while keeping a keen focus on providing exceptional customer service to create brand loyalty and build referrals.* Maintain the vision of continuous coaching and idea sharing to retail partners and home building facilities to ensure optimal growth for all locations.* Organize sales responsibilities to maximize clarity, efficiency, and productivity to meet established goals.* Identify opportunities for improving business processes to increase brand loyalty and drive customer referrals.* Proactively face challenges while being committed to providing customers with excellent services and products.* Create engagement and awareness to positively influence NPS and customer referrals.* Train retail partners on social and digital media best practices to ensure brand exposure in ways most applicable to the customer.* Conduct visits to retail partners for hands-on training and product updates.* Stay up to date on trends within the industry through frequent competitive analysis.* Support Production Team by taking ownership of order accuracy to minimize or eliminate change orders, special requests, and schedule changes.* Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications:*** Associate’s (2 year) degree with a preference for business, sales, economics, marketing, math or similar majors that require data-based decision making preferred. Bachelor’s (4 year) degree a plus.* 3+ years of work experience preferred in the areas of Sales, Marketing Research, Market Intelligence, or Consulting.* Must have great communication skills, written and verbal.* Must continuously use the highest level of personal integrity and business ethics. Faithfully execute all applicable regulations of local, state and federal authorities.* Great attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.* Ability to work independently or in a team environment.* Motivated and self-starter.* Willing to learn, hard-working, determined, and assertive.* Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).**Physical Demands:*** Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.* Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. The Account Manager is responsible for developing, supporting, and growing relationships with new and existing provider accounts within an assigned region. This role directly supports Ethos Laboratories’ purpose to Help More People by ensuring providers receive exceptional service, operational support, and ongoing partnership after implementation.

The Account Manager works closely with the Territory Manager to transition new accounts successfully and assumes primary responsibility for account performance after onboarding. This is a relationship-driven role focused on retention, organic growth, service excellence, and operational coordination.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist the Territory Manager in identifying opportunities and qualifying leads within an assigned geography
  • Support the sales process, including initial calls, implementation, first report review, and quarterly business reviews
  • Maintain and strengthen existing provider relationships
  • Drive organic growth within current accounts
  • Conduct lunches, in-office visits, and account maintenance meetings as needed
  • Attend and contribute to customer meetings, presentations, and events
  • Coordinate patient billing questions, supply ordering, and client service needs
  • Partner with the Field Operations Supervisor to support specimen collection operations and service excellence
  • Provide weekly summaries of account activity and CRM updates
  • Prepare presentation materials and coordinate logistics for provider visits
  • Travel within assigned region, including overnight travel up to two nights per month
  • Operate in full compliance with corporate policies and all applicable healthcare regulations
