The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN Resident provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN Resident serves as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers to support an unparalleled patient experience.
What will you do in this role:
- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications. Monitor patient for therapeutic response. Notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to medication.
- Perform exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strive to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
- Teach patients, families and caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Other Certifications maybe required during employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating education for patients, families, and caregivers to encourage participation in treatment planning, goal discussions, and family conferences
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that reflect the patient’s strengths, needs, and personal recovery goals
- Completing psychosocial assessments and discharge planning evaluations, clearly documenting findings and communicating needs across the care team

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) serves as a key member of the unit based leadership team. The CNC is responsible for managing patient-centered care coordinator within the department during the designated shift. - Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- (RN) Registered Nurse license in the state of CA
- Bachelors in nursing preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Meal Relief Registered Nurse servicing the Maternal/Child Units, as a professional practitioner, assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care while he/she is relieving other licensed nurses during break/meal periods
- According to the established standards of nursing practice and standards of care, he/she demonstrates an ability to make clinical nursing judgement in an efficient and effective manner
- He/She demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to the standards of the profession
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of skilled, high quality patient care; for assisting in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing practice and collaborating with members of the healthcare team
What qualifications you will need:
- Valid California RN license required
- Current BCLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- National RN Certification preferred
- Current NRP certification required
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience in Maternal Child Health
