Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day.

Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.

Crouching/Squatting

Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.

Reaching

Lead Restoration Technician Qualifications:

The Lead Mitigation Technician is responsible for leading the mitigation helpers to completion of Water Mitigation projects in a professional and timely manner. Reports to the Mitigation Field Supervisor.


DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead water damage projects, mold remediation projects, and Fire and Smoke damage projects.
  • Extract water from flooded structures using extraction equipment.
  • Lead job site production to include water extraction, demolition, use of hand tools, power tools, general cleanup, equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, moving of goods and supplies through the warehouse production process, etc.
  • Assist in determining the most effective way to dry the affected materials.
  • Possibly conduct demolition after a fire, water/flood, sewage, mold or storm damages.
  • Remove carpets, carpet pads, drywall, and insulation.
  • Haul debris from job site to truck and occasional moving customer contents away from the work area as needed.
  • Monitor moisture levels on the job site and record data.
  • Set, move and monitor humidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers and other equipment to the job site.
  • Set up negative air in affected work areas for containment.
  • Efficiently and effectively install containment.
  • Handle water extraction and removal of water-damaged materials.
  • Lead staff in job performance, organization, and scheduling.
  • Communicate a positive image of the company to the entire staff and customers.
  • Apply all safety rules and regulations and prevent workplace hazards.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of water mitigation experience or WRT IICRC certification
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Hard-working team player who can easily adapt to changing needs.
